Yellowstone Season 4 has one more episode coming this Sunday. While most people have been predicting fireworks, there hasn’t been a consensus on just what those fireworks might be in the final episode. Most people think that a major character is about to die. But one actor believes the season finale might actually see the death of a fan-favorite relationship instead.
Ryan Bingham – who plays Walker on the Paramount series – hinted at major tension ahead with his character being the cause of Beth and Rip’s potential breakup.
Throughout the series, the couple’s relationship was often highlighted as unconditional and the two were considered soulmates. Having met as teenagers, when Cole Hauser’s character first began to work on the Dutton Ranch, the two hit it off and have been together ever since. In fact, there was a time when they would have had a kid together if she hadn’t gotten an abortion that led to her infertility.
Yellowstone: Beth and Rip Could Be Headed For The Relationship Rocks
Despite the deep connections between the two, things haven’t always been rosy. Season 1 of Yellowstone saw Bingham’s Walker become a major threat to their relationship when she was still playing “hard to get.” Beth often acted as though she wasn’t interested in her true love’s affection.
Walker’s arrival to the ranch saw Rip competing for Beth’s affection after the guitar strumming cowboy made it clear he was attracted to her and now it looks as though the two could reignite their romantic interests.
Bingham recently dropped a major clue. He talked about the issue during a behind-the-scenes interview with Paramount Network. The actor shed some light for the latest episode “No Such Thing as Fair.”
“I feel like Walker was going in a different direction,” the actor explained about how his character went from a bad boy to a good one on the ranch. “And all of a sudden he gets pulled back in that triangle of Beth and Rip.”
“I don’t know, to be honest,” the actor said. “I don’t want to get on Rip’s bad side – things are starting to go pretty good.”
Bingham added that he hopes the other man, “doesn’t get too upset.”
Big Shakeup Could Be Coming
The clip that has people worried about a breakup was near the end of the previous episode of Yellowstone. Beth went and listened to Bingham play his guitar. It seemed like a pretty intimate moment.
Making matters worse was the Rip saw both. He didn’t seem happy at all.
Beth and Rip have been good recently. The same can’t exactly be said for his relationship with Walker.
While the two aren’t feuding like they used to, it feels like an uneasy peace. If Walker is moving in on Rip’s lady love, then things are going to get bad quickly.
If the next episode of Yellowstone means the end of Beth and Rip, then fireworks are coming indeed.
