‘Yellowstone’ Season 3 Coming To CBS: All The Details

Yellowstone is going to continue to air on CBS. Now that the network has finished airing Season 2 of the Kevin Costner-led Western series, they plan on coming back to broadcast television with Season 3. However, the network is going to cram a full season in a short period they will start airing new seasons of their top shows such as NCIS, and NCIS: Hawaii.

Therefore, when will the Season 3 premiere of the Paramount drama air on CBS? Moreover, what is the schedule?

When Is Yellowstone Season 3 Coming To CBS?

On Monday, The Futon Critic reported that CBS is premiering Yellowstone Season 3 on CBS in January. Starting on Sunday, January 14, the Taylor Sheridan Western drama is going to air on CBS, premiering with a three-hour Season 3 premiere. The remaining six episodes will conclude with a two-night season finale event on Sunday, January 28, and Monday, January 29.

Kevin Costner-Led Series Reaching Millions Of New Viewers

Yellowstone has been a cable hit on Paramount for five years, now making it the number-one show on cable. However, now that CBS has started to air the Kevin Costner-led series, they have “reached nearly 33 million unique viewers since it began airing on Sundays.” Yellowstone on CBS has averaged 5.04 million viewers per episode.

When the dual WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes delayed filming the 2023-2024 season, CBS has been creative by airing some of Paramount’s series, including Yellowstone, and NCIS: Sydney.

What Is the Yellowstone Season 3 January Schedule?

Yellowstone Season 3 will air on CBS spanning four days.

Sunday, January 14 will premiere three episodes in a row starting at 8 p.m., Eastern time. The episodes airing include “You’re the Indian Now,” “Freight Trains and Monsters,” and An Acceptable Surrender.”

Sunday, January 21 will premiere the next three episodes, again starting at 8 p.m., Eastern. These episodes are “Going Back To Cali,” “Cowboys and Dreamers,” and “All For Nothing.”

Sunday, January 28 will premiere the next two episodes, starting at 8 p.m., Eastern. The titles of these episodes are “The Beating,” and “I Killed A Man Today.”

Lastly, on Monday, January 29, CBS will premiere the final two episodes starting at 9 p.m., Eastern. These final two titles are “Meaner Than Evil,” and “The World Is Purple.”

When Can Fans Watch Remainder Of Yellowstone?

CBS has not yet revealed whether or not they will be airing Yellowstone Season 4, or Season 5 Part 1.  However, both of those seasons are available to stream on Peacock.

As for Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2, they will start production on the final episodes of the series sometime in early 2024. The premiere will be on Paramount in November 2024.
