Hollywood is mourning the sudden lack of actor Chadwick Boseman, who died Friday on the age of 43. In an announcement posted to Boseman’s social media, the Black Panther star’s household stated that he was identified with colon most cancers in 2016 and had filmed his work since then — together with Black Panther, Marshall, Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods, and extra — whereas receiving therapy for the sickness.
Boseman’s friends in Hollywood have expressed their sorrow on the loss and paid tribute to Boseman on social media. Insecure‘s Issa Rae wrote of Boseman’s passing, “This broke me.” Director Jordan Peele stated, “It is a crushing blow.”

Boseman’s alma mater, Howard College, additionally reacted to the information. “It’s with profound disappointment that we mourn the lack of alumnus Chadwick Boseman who handed away this night,” the college said in a statement. “His unbelievable expertise will perpetually be immortalized via his characters and thru his personal private journey from scholar to superhero! Relaxation in Energy!”
