Breaking News

The Office is extensively thought-about to be one of many biggest sitcoms of all time, so who would not need extra of it? Racist jerks, apparently.

Leslie David Baker, who performed the perennially grumpy workplace drone Stanley within the beloved NBC sitcom, introduced in early July that he was starting a Kickstarter project to fund a possible Workplace spin-off targeted on his character. Uncle Stan: Coming Out of Retirement would comply with Stanley as he helps his nephew in Los Angeles, and Baker is in search of 300 massive to get issues going. Nice, proper?

“For these of you who do not consider racism remains to be alive on the planet… this is the proof,” Baker wrote. “Our aim has merely been to entertain and provides the followers a top quality sequence. These rants are proof that there’s nonetheless a substantial amount of work that must be performed right here in America relating to racism. Bigotry and hate is not going to be allowed to irradicate (sic) artwork or Black folks. Sufficient mentioned.”

It does not seem that the hate speech has slowed Baker’s goals down, because the Kickstarter remains to be up and has truly surpassed its aim of $300,000 with two days left to go.
