90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?’s seventh season featured Elizabeth Potthast and Andrei Castravet announcing they’re expecting, Michael Ilesanmi allegedly using Angela Deem for sex, Jenny Slatten accusing Sumit Singh of changing after marriage, Ed Brown and Liz Woods reconciling, Yara Zaya considering a move to Prague, and Usman “SojaBoy” Umar’s mother trying to fix him up with a young Nigerian woman during the Season 7 episode that aired Sunday night on TLC.

The new season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? stars Jenny, a 63-year-old from Palm Springs, CA, and Sumit a 33-year-old from New Delhi, India; Jovi Dufren, a 31-year-old from New Orleans, LA, and Yara, a 27-year-old from Ukraine; Usman, a 33-year-old from Nigeria, and Kim Menzies, a 51-year-old from San Diego, CA; and Elizabeth, a 31-year-old from Tampa, FL, and Andrei, a 35-year-old from Chisinau, Moldova.
The series also features Bilal Hazzies, a 43-year-old from Kansas City, MO, and Shaeeda Sween, a 37-year-old from Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago; Kara Bass, a 29-year-old from Charlottesville, VA, and Guillermo Rojer, a 23-year-old from Venezuela; Ed, a 56-year-old from San Diego, CA, and Liz, a 29-year-old from San Diego, CA; and Angela, a 56-year-old from Hazlehurst, GA, and Michael, a 34-year-old from Nigeria.

The 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? couples who previously starred on the spinoff’s sixth season are Elizabeth and Andrei, Angela and Michael, and Yara and Jovi.
Jenny and Sumit previously appeared on all three seasons of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, which follows American citizens moving to foreign countries for the sake of love.
In a departure from 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?’s original premise — which was continuing to follow the lives of couples who married after the American resident’s foreign partner came to the United States on a K-1 visa — Usman and Kim are not married, and neither are Ed and Liz (nor is Liz even a foreigner).
Jenny and Sumit are in fact married, but their wedding or ceremony never aired on TLC. In addition, the couple are also not living in America but in India, Sumit’s home country.
Kim and Usman appeared on Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days and the season showed Kim traveling overseas to meet Usman in person for the first time. Usman also previously appeared on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days with his prior American partner Lisa Hamme, whom he married in the show’s season finale.
Ed and Liz previously appeared on Seasons 1 and 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life on discovery+.
“As these couples navigate the next chapter of their relationships, they’ll be put to the test on everything from emotional affairs to disapproving family to immigration issues. With these couples kissing the honeymoon stage goodbye, are they headed toward happily ever after or happily never after?” TLC teased of the new Happily Ever After? season.
Below is what happened on Episode 10 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?’s seventh season.
JENNY and SUMIT
After the couple’s honeymoon, Sumit was shown getting ready for work after a two-year hiatus. While Jenny was retired and collected social security, Sumit wanted to continue working and making money as a chef in a French cafe.
This was a job Sumit had been doing for a couple of months before the coronavirus pandemic shut down the eatery. Jenny, however, wished her husband would stay home with her. Sumit, on the other hand, wished his wife would learn how to cook while he was bringing home the bacon.
Sumit suggested Jenny should go grocery shopping, and she agreed since she didn’t have anything else to do.

Jenny had lived in India for almost three years, but she explained how it was still intimidating to wander around India by herself and go to the market alone as a white woman, especially considering people stared at her.
And it appeared a woman tried to overcharge Jenny for vegetables and take advantage of her at a market.
“When I gave up everything to be with Sumit in India, I thought he would be by my side,” Jenny explained.
“Honestly, if this is how Sumit wants our married life to be like, I’d rather be home in America with friends and family, where I’m comfortable. I’d definitely feel less helpless… [and] alone.”
Jenny added how she was sick of always being the one to compromise.

Sumit hoped to work five days a week, but his business partner Rohit wanted him to work seven days a week. Rohit insisted Jenny would adjust and she shouldn’t always get her way.
Sumit then revealed how Jenny wanted him to move to the United States but he’d never have a peaceful life being so far away from his parents.
Sumit was also still thinking about adoption or surrogacy in order to please his parents, which shocked Rohit due to Jenny’s age. Sumit thought they had a good life in America and was scared to lose his family, friends and job if he moved to another country.
“I’ll lose the life I wanted,” Sumit lamented in a confessional.
When Sumit returned home from work, he was surprised to see all the fresh vegetables. Jenny seemed proud of herself, even though she had paid a little too much.
Jenny suggested she could make mashed potatoes, but Sumit brought home dinner to her. Jenny apparently wasn’t a cook and she made a lot of frozen or instant meals back in America.
Sumit thought it would be better for his relationship if he worked and spent some time apart from Jenny, but Jenny hated the idea. Jenny also said Sumit better think twice if he thought he was going to go out with his friends after work and party.
Jenny noticed things were different after their wedding, and she pointed out how their age difference was noticeable in this regard.
Sumit wanted Jenny and himself to be less dependent on each other, and he hoped Jenny would work on her basic duties as a housewife.
ANGELA and MICHAEL
Angela and Michael were shown waking up in bed next to each other.
Angela said they had the best makeup sex ever after Michael agreed to take down his Instagram account and also insisted that he loved her and wanted to remain married to her.
Michael said he missed his wife and got lucky, and Angela called her husband “a beast.”
Michael also said Angela’s new slimmer body looked beautiful and “fantastic.” Angela had been waiting to hear that reassurance and validation for so long.

Michael then told the cameras that he really didn’t plan on taking his Instagram account down, although he had told Angela he would. Michael wanted to keep his social media in order to become an influencer and have a double income.
When Michael sat down with Angela and discussed the matter after a great night, Angela was furious. Angela said Michael was only nice when he wanted something and he always did what he wanted to do, despite the consequences or how it was going to make her feel.
Michael said they’re supposed to be partners and his opinion mattered, and then Angela threatened to go home.
Angela felt Michael had used her for sex and taken advantage of her, adding, “Prostitutes get more respect than Michael gives me… I am tired and emotionally drained.”
Michael tried to put his foot down and so he asked told Angela to take her Instagram account down. But Angela refused, saying she’s not the one who betrayed him — and she took off in a cab.
“He had told me what I wanted to hear just to get into my pants… This is the lowest blow you could do to me. This is not the Michael I married; this is not the man I love,” Angela cried to the cameras.
Michael believed Angela would forgive him, but when he approached her, she called him “a liar” and accused him of smothering her. Angela said she was tired and he needed to go, but Michael wanted to speak his mind.
“It was a lie of love,” Michael said, which made Angela flip out.
Michael noted how Angela needed to compromise or else this may be the end of their marriage.
ED and LIZ
Ed and Liz had their biggest fight ever at their engagement party, and Ed said he thought his relationship was over. However, the coupe ultimately decided to work on their relationship and not give up. Liz said Ed was a jealous man with many insecurities but she still loved him.
“He drives me f-cking crazy, but I choose to wake up and appreciate the memories and the love I have for him… I truly believe Ed is worthy, and I’m willing to do everything I can to prove to him that we can make this work,” Liz explained in a confessional.

Ed admitted he had trust issues and took his anger at the lesbian woman at their party out on her. Ed said he had acted “dumb” and had the tendency to jump to conclusions.
Ed sometimes worried it was “too good to be true” with Liz, and so he said he had a lot of things to work on. Ed had been bullied as a child, and so this was the root of most of his insecurities.
Liz had also been cheated on in the past, and so she wanted there to be more trust in her romance, with Ed listening to and believing her. Liz wasn’t sure Ed was ever going to be ready to get married, and she apparently feared he would easily give up on her in the face of conflict.

Ed and Liz later had a therapy session together. Liz explained how she and Ed would need professional help in order to stay together.
Liz explained how she needs to make her own money and work in order to feel secure, mainly because she had once lived in her car with her daughter after a bad breakup.
Liz needed to feel a sense of purpose outside of her relationship, but she had been staying close to home in order to make Ed feel safe and secure.
Ed didn’t want to be controlling, but he confessed that Liz going back to work really scared him. He believed Liz would have to work late shifts and work around people who didn’t support their relationship. Ed also worried Liz would want to go out and party with co-workers.
YARA and JOVI
During Yara, Jovi and Mylah’s first day in Prague, Yara and her daughter spent the day with Yara’s mother. They had coffee and did some sightseeing.
Yara said she loved America, but her mother wished Yara would move closer so they could see each other more.
Yara realized how much she missed Europe, and so she admitted she was torn about where she’d like to live long-term. Mylah’s mother wanted to babysit and dedicate herself to her granddaughter and spend all of her time with her.
Yara’s mother had sent Yara a property to look at in Prague, where most of her family and friends would be moving amid the war in Ukraine, but Yara was keeping it a secret from Jovi.

Yara figured any type of apartment hunting would make Jovi mad since he didn’t seem to want to leave America — and she was right.
When Yara told Jovi that she wanted to look at an apartment, Jovi called the situation “dumb.” They hadn’t talked about possibly moving to Prague, and he said this wasn’t part of the plan and Yara’s mother was clearly influencing her.
“I don’t know what she’s thinking. I don’t want her mom to try to make decisions for her,” Jovi told the cameras.
Jovi said Yara needed to talk to him before making any decisions or spending money on something like an apartment. While Yara made money with her own clothing line business, Jovi said it was his money too and she needed to think like a team.
Jovi agreed to look at apartments with Yara — but only to stop her plan because he said their life was in America.
KIM and USMAN
Kim did not receive a blessing from Usman’s mother to marry the rapper, and so they were both feeling angry and defeated after a tense family gathering in Sokoto, Nigeria.
Kim had threatened to break up, and Usman said that would be just fine because he’s the one in the relationship who must sacrifice the most.
Kim then told Usman it really hurt her feelings when he said he could be with 100 women because she’s beautiful as well as a good person.

Kim said she just wanted to make her expectations clear and establish boundaries about what she wanted in and for their relationship — and she did not want to be a second wife or allow a man to manipulate her ever again.
Usman said he never asked Kim to be his second wife, and he recommended how they should sit down with just his brother Mohammed and his mother Fadimatu because they’re people he could easily convince.
Usman said some of his other relatives had been too harsh, and Kim wanted to show her charming and wonderful attributes.

“But if I have to leave Nigeria single, then that’s just the way it’s going to be,” Kim said in tears.
Usman and Kim later met up with Mohammed and Fadimatu, and Usman prayed everything would go smoothly or else it may be the end of his relationship. Kim covered her body to respect Usman’s culture, and she said she felt extremely nervous and anxious.
If Fadimatu rejected her again, Kim said she and Usman would have no options left. Kim wanted Usman’s family to see her for who she is.
But at the meeting, Usman’s brother Faruq showed up, and he had been the person most vocal about his disapproval of Usman and Kim’s relationship. Kim and Usman’s plan depended on Mohammed being there, not Faruq.
During the meeting, Kim showed Fadimatu pictures of her son Jamal to show how she’s a mother and only had the best of intentions with Usman. Kim also revealed she was in the Army for nine years, which surprised Usman’s mother.
Faruq claimed he never wanted Kim to feel bad and was just trying to protect his brother. With that being said, he apologized for how he had acted.
Faruq saw Kim as one of their own considering she had served in the military.
“I definitely like Kim better after today, but I don’t know if [she’s[ the best choice for Usman,” Faruq told the cameras.

But Fadimatu still didn’t agree with Usman and Kim’s request to wed. She therefore had a Nigerian woman waiting in the wings to meet Usman. Fadimatu wanted Usman to be with a young lady who could give him a child.
Fadimatu still wanted Kim to be Usman’s second wife, but Kim replied, “I can’t do that… I still want to be your first wife. It’s important to me.”
Kim also didn’t think it was right for Usman to meet another woman right in front of her when they had yet to receive permission to marry. Kim thought Fadimatu was trying to test her to see if she’d get jealous like Usman’s first American wife.

ELIZABETH and ANDREI
A few weeks after their immigration interview, Elizabeth found out some big news, which put Andrei’s green card conversation on the back burner.
“We’re having another baby!” the pair announced simultaneously.
Elizabeth admitted it wasn’t the best timing but another baby would bring so much joy to their lives.
Andrei called the pregnancy a bright light during a dark time, and then Elizabeth was shown having an ultrasound. Elizabeth noted how it would be so cute to have a boy, as long as he’s not “controlling and crazy” like his father.
Elizabeth was about 12 weeks pregnant, and Andrei was upset there were still family problems with Elizabeth’s relatives. But Andrei, who thought someone in Elizabeth’s family had reported him to immigration in attempt to deport him, planned to focus on his baby on the way.
Elizabeth hadn’t seen her mother or sister in a while. She also intended to focus on her family, but she also wasn’t going to let Andrei’s paranoia make her estranged from her family.
