When Kyland Young, a 29-year-old account executive from San Bernardino County, CA who currently resides in Venice Beach, CA, was Head of Household, Tiffany, a 40-year-old phlebotomist from Detroit, MI, was evicted in a 3-0 vote instead of Hannah, a 21-year-old graduate student from Chicago, IL.

Once Azah Awasum, a 30-year-old director of sales operations from Baltimore, MD, came into power as HoH, the houseguests evicted Hannah in a 2-0 vote over Derek Frazier, a 29-year-old safety officer from Philadelphia, PA, also known as “Big D.”
In the meantime, Xavier Prather, a 27-year-old attorney from Kalamazoo, MI, also saw the chopping block.
The Big Brother broadcast began on Day 69, after Kyland decided against using the Power of Veto on either Hannah or Tiffany. Kyland said Tiffany had already broken his trust before, and naming a replacement nominee for Hannah would just get more blood on his hands that he didn’t need considering he couldn’t compete in the next Head of Household competition.
Although Tiffany was well aware she was Kyland’s target, she planned to pull a trick out of her bag and fight to stay.
“The Cookout” alliance was so proud of their accomplishment, ensuring two African American people will be sitting in the Final 2 chairs and one of those people will be the first African American winner of Big Brother.
Hannah gave Tiffany the credit for the Final 6 making it this far, and the girls gushed about their amazing feat and playing great games thus far.
Tiffany then decided to work on switching Derek over to her side by convincing him that she’s not gunning for him. Tiffany told Azah that Hannah played “a cutthroat” game “with no emotion” and she was putting the game before her friendships in the house.
Kyland told Xavier that he wanted to win the $750,000 in order to help his family and pay off his student loans, which totals more than $100,000, and Xavier revealed his motivating factor to win is to take care of his nephew considering Xavier’s brother passed away in April due to a heart problem.

Tiffany then assured Derek that she wasn’t going after him but Hannah didn’t want to take Derek to Final 2, which were both things Derek claimed he already knew. Tiffany also worked on Xavier, saying he was going to be Kyland’s next target even though Xavier knew that wasn’t true.
Tiffany also told both men that Hannah’s not emotional about the game and wouldn’t care whom she must backstab to win the game and the money. Xavier realized Tiffany would be a shield for him, but he wasn’t sure he could trust her going forward.
Xavier and Derek, however, compared notes in regards to their respective conversations with Tiffany and came to the conclusion Hannah may actually be more of a threat and maybe it would make sense to take her out before Tiffany.
After the first three jury member — Derek Xiao, Sarah Beth Steagall and Britini D’Angelo — were shown applauding the remaining houseguests’ alliance and “noble mission” in playing a game bigger than themselves, Claire Rehfuss and Alyssa Lopez joined the jury house.
The jury members were absolutely shocked and somewhat appalled to see that Tiffany had sent home her No. 1 ally, Claire, who was grateful Tiffany had explained the situation to her one-on-one.
Claire said she respected and admired Tiffany’s character and was not mad at her. In fact, Claire noted she’d like to see Tiffany win the whole season, and Alyssa also commended the “Cookout Alliance” for being genius, especially in the event of her blindside.
The first live eviction of the evening then commenced.
Tiffany announced she’s the reason why she was put on the chopping block to begin with and if the houseguests choose to keep her around, she and Kyland would be switching seats next week.

And Tiffany and Hannah only had nice things to say about one another despite campaigning for the other person to go earlier in the week.
Tiffany was evicted from the house in a unanimous 3-0 vote. Tiffany left the house in good spirits and told everyone to have fun.
In her post-eviction interview, Tiffany shared, “Kyland and I had a Final 2 in Week 2, but I wavered back and forth in the trust I had for him. I doubted him, but I still continued to include him in my final plan to the end. But I developed a great friendship with Chaddha and I just wanted to see her and I get to the end as well.”
Tiffany also confirmed the reason why she was evicted was choosing to win the Head of Household competition in order to target Alyssa when “The Cookout” alliance as a whole wanted to see Claire go first.
“People were upset about that moment. I don’t think it’s necessarily that I won but HOW I won,” Tiffany said, pointing out how she had won back-to-back competitions and went into business for herself when she was supposed to throw the second one.
Tiffany insisted she has no regrets and is proud to be a risk-taker but “it hurts” to not make it to the Final 2 when she was the mastermind behind The Cookout’s entire plan and strategy.
“I’m a little upset about it, but I understand. I think they probably view the threat of me… of not being able to control me,” Tiffany noted.
Tiffany became the sixth member of the nine-person jury.
Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves then announced to the group it was going to be a double-eviction night. For the first time in Big Brother history, the show featured two double evictions in back-to-back weeks.
For the Head of Household competition called “BB Ballers,” Kyland, as the outgoing HoH, was deemed ineligible to compete.

The competition was played in two rounds. Each player had 12 silver balls in the grass at the end of a ramp. On Julie’s “go,” a player would retrieve a ball from his or her ball box and roll it up a ramp in attempt to knock the 12 silver balls off the grass platform.
One ball could be rolled at a time, and the first two houseguests to knock all 12 silver balls off the grass and hit their button would advance to Round 2. The winner of Round 2 would become the new Head of Household.

Xavier and Azah competed in Round 2, which required the houseguests to roll the balls onto their empty-grass platforms. The player with the most balls on the grass after 10 shots would become the new HoH.
Azah won Head of Household after landing five balls on her grass compared to Xavier’s three balls.
Azah went on to nominate Xavier and Hannah for eviction, saying that she was going to keep her promises in this game.
For the subsequent Power of Veto competition, all of the remaining Big Brother players competed in a Big Brother classic called “What the Bleep?!”
The players viewed a number of videos containing statements made by their former housemates this summer. Each statement featured a bleeped-out word or phrase. Once Julie filled in the blank with what it might be, the players had to determine if Julie’s suggestion was “True” or “False.”
For every correct answer, a player would receive one point. The houseguest with the most points at the end of seven questions would win the Power of Veto.
Xavier and Kyland both received six points at the end of the game and had to answer a tiebreaker question. The person to guess the closest number to the answer, without going over, would win the PoV.
The guys were asked how long “The Cluckster” HoH competition was, in seconds, from the start until Big Brother declared Kyland the winner.
Xavier wrote down 1100 and Kyland guessed 1690, so Kyland won the Power of Veto.
At the Veto Meeting, Kyland announced he had decided to use the golden Power of Veto on Xavier in order to honor the deals and promises he had made. There was only one option, Derek, to replace Xavier on the chopping block.
At the second live eviction, Derek said he had supported everyone in this game and he’d like to see everyone stay loyal to their word, and Hannah insisted in her speech that she loves and respects this game and Kyland and Xavier must consider what’s best for their personal game.
Azah, as the HoH, would only vote in the event of a tie.

Kyland proceeded to cast his vote to evict Hannah, and Xavier also voted to evict Hannah.
Hannah was evicted through a unanimous 2-0 vote as a result, and she hugged her fellow houseguests goodbye.
Hannah admitted to Julie in her post-eviction interview that she was “shocked” to have been nominated for eviction by Azah.
“I thought Azah’s target would’ve been Ky. She’s been pretty vocal about coming after Ky for the last few weeks, or at least when we got to the point of Final 6 and we could start turning on each other,” Hannah explained.
Hannah also assumed Azah and Xavier had some type of deal in place where he wouldn’t be put on the block under her HoH reign.
“I think for her own game, Azah should’ve kept me. I still think the guys are working together, even if they don’t have a Final 3. I think they’ve maybe made a deal to protect each other and look out for each other in this game,” Hannah said.

Hannah revealed if she had won the Power of Veto, she’d put Kyland on the chopping block.
“Azah didn’t know Kyland was going to use the Veto on X, and so I was collateral, I believe, and here I am,” Hannah said.
Hannah concluded her interview by saying her proudest accomplishment of the season and highlight of playing the game was making it to the Final 6 with “The Cookout” alliance so an African American player will be crowned champion.
