Married at First Sight star Olajuwon Dickerson has revealed there was a lot more to the Lindsey Georgoulis argument than what was shown on the latest Season 14 episode.

Olajuwon, 29, and Katina Goode, 29, were matched for matrimony on Season 14 as well as Lindsey, 34, and Mark Maher, 37, by Married at First Sight experts Dr. Viviana Coles, Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Pastor Calvin Roberson.

On Wednesday night’s episode of Married at First Sight: Afterparty, Olajuwon watched back a Season 14 clip of the cast leaving the airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico and getting on the same van that would be taking them to their hotel — without Lindsey and Mark onboard.

“When we’re leaving the airport, we’re getting into a van, and Lindsey and Mark don’t join us,” explains MAFS 14 star Steve Moy in the clip.

After Mark brags about getting “royal treatment” on his honeymoon by taking a private bus with his wife, a producer notes how Lindsey seemed “upset” and didn’t want to ride with her castmates.

“I’m already feeling a sense of awkwardness or uncomfortableness between the couples,” Steve reveals.

Olajuwon then tells a producer how Lindsey commanded everyone to speak Spanish to the locals during their honeymoon stay.

“We’re all adults,” Olajuwon complains in the clip.

“If we want to speak English or we want to speak Spanish, just speak what you want. Don’t come over here telling people what to do because we’re adults and we don’t play that.”

Olajuwon adds in front of his castmates, “You’re not nobody’s mother. Talk to your husband if that’s what you want to do. Don’t talk to other couples about what language we’re going to speak. Don’t come near me if you’re going to tell me what language to speak.”

Katina proceeds to defend her husband and says, “And then when people were walking away, I heard her say, ‘I want to fight him.'”

Katina finally vents in a confessional, “You’re not even Spanish, girl! I don’t care if you lived here for eight months or a year. Like, you are not Spanish.”

Olajuwon revealed on Afterparty how “there were a lot of things that happened prior” to the van incident with Lindsey at the airport.

“I think Lindsey got caught up with cameras, and felt like, ‘I need to be the spotlight of the camera,'” Olajuwon claimed.

“The first time she met me, she came up to me and I had slippers on, and she doesn’t know me from a hole in the wall. And she says, ‘Man, you’re fly but your slippers look cheap,’ and this and that,” he alleged.

“That don’t sit well with me. You don’t know me. You don’t judge anybody or make any comments.”

Olajuwon said, however, he “let that slide,” and Mark confirmed he had witnessed that particular conversation.

Moving onto the plane and the cast’s flight to San Juan, Olajuwon recalled, “She made little remarks — and she’s sitting right behind me. So it’s tough to ignore but I ignored them twice.”

However, a flight attendant apparently couldn’t ignore Lindsey’s inappropriate behavior.

“A flight attendant came up to us twice, maybe two or three times, and told Lindsey herself, ‘Stop yelling. Sit down in your seat. Put your mask on,'” Olajuwon said.

“I’m just trying to get to know my wife! It was shocking and it just didn’t sit well. Where I come from, I just think any adult, you don’t let anybody downtalk you or tell you what to speak.”

Olajuwon was getting worked up as he relived the story and added, “You’re not from that land, you know? So yeah, it was very, very frustrating.”

Mark sat in his chair quietly and had wide eyes while listening to Olajuwon’s story on Afterparty, and host Keshia Knight Pulliam pointed out how it must have been awkward for Mark to be present for this discussion.

In regards to Katina’s claim Lindsey had said she wanted to “fight” Olajuwon, Olajuwon told Keshia, “When I was walking off the plane, she yelled it — that she wanted to fight me… She said she wanted to fight me. And that is not okay.”

“That is not okay because now you know what you’re doing,” Olajwuon complained.

“I was in front of Katina carrying our bags off the plane, and by the time I turned around, Katina was already finger-up saying, ‘Who are you talking to about fighting?'”

Olajuwon insisted “the cameras didn’t catch that” and so viewers didn’t get to see everything that went down.

On Married at First Sight’s latest episode, Lindsey accused Olajuwon of getting “aggressive” with her at the airport, which supposedly really triggered her.

Once everyone got settled into their respective hotel rooms, Lindsey said Olajuwon had shaken her to her core and she was so happy to be with Mark, who was acting “supportive and nurturing” ever since their travels began.

“I feel Mark’s support consistently. I love his positivity. I think I already love him! And that sounds crazy, but we do seem like we’re both crazy,” Lindsey gushed.

Lindsey and Mark chose not to join the other couples for drinks by the pool that day, but Mark showed up by himself at one point to hopefully bond with his castmates and diffuse some of the tension.

Mark explained to the group how Lindsey tends to operate “at a 10,” which can press other people’s buttons, and so he apologized for what had happened on his “team.”

Mark asked everyone to rise above the drama and not feel angry “over little things,” and everyone agreed.

Olajuwon and Mark even toasted to forgiveness and moving on; however, Katina suggested how she could only handle Lindsey in small doses due to her overwhelming personality going forward.

Married at First Sight currently airs on Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT and also stars Steve and Noi Phommasak, Alyssa Ellman and Chris Collette, and Michael Morency and Jasmina Outar.
