‘The Bachelorette’ star Jenn Tran’s potential bachelors announced — Meet the men! (PHOTOS)

The Bachelorette has unveiled the bachelors who may compete for Jenn Tran, the star of Season 21.

ABC has announced 28 men who “may” have a chance to meet and date Jenn, a 25-year-old Physician Assistant student who currently resides in Miami, FL, on The Bachelorette’s 21st season, which will begin filming soon and air later this year.

“EARLY LOOK ALERT. We’re giving you a sneak peek at the men who may be on this season of #TheBachelorette! Leave a [rose emoji] for who would get your first impression rose,” wrote The Bachelorette’s official Facebook page.

The inclusion of the word “may” suggests a few of the men may not actually appear on Jenn’s season of The Bachelorette. More suitors may also be added later on given a typical The Bachelorette or The Bachelor season features 25-30 contestants.

Jenn’s initial cast of bachelors range in age from 24 to 35 years old. Six of the men are age 30 or older.

ABC revealed names, ages and photos for the men on Facebook on Monday, March 25, and the photos display a variety of backgrounds indicating the photos were likely just submitted by the men themselves.

ABC began its current practice of publicly announcing each The Bachelor and The Bachelorette season’s possible cast in 2019 as an apparent attempt to further vet each contestant’s background before filming actually commences.

Beginning in 2020 with Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams’ season of The Bachelorette, they also began bringing extra potential contestants to the season’s filming location in case anyone tested positive for coronavirus during the quarantine period that must occur before production officially starts.

Jenn was announced as The Bachelorette star for Season 21 during The Bachelor’s live Season 28 finale, which featured Joey Graziadei and his winner, Kelsey Anderson, getting engaged.

Jenn told The Bachelorette host Jesse Palmer that she hopes to find a man with a big personality with whom she can laugh, have flirty banter, and be truly compatible with.

Jenn also said she’s “so grateful” and “honored” to be the first Asian-American woman to star on The Bachelorette.

“Growing up, I always wanted to see Asian representation on TV, and I feel like it was really sparse. Any time Asians were in the media, it was to fulfill supporting character roles or to fulfill some sort of stereotype, and I always felt boxed in by that,” Jenn shared with host Jesse Palmer.

Joey had eliminated Jenn, along with Kelsey Toussant, right before his Final 4 bachelorettes’ hometown dates.

“It’s definitely tough to know that I wasn’t enough. That’s not fun,” Jenn cried in her final words.

“I know we would’ve been amazing together. I know that we would’ve been so happy, and I’m totally going to miss him. I know what I have to offer. I know the amazing woman that I am, and I know that someone else will be more than happy to be my person. I just hope that I find someone as special as him one day.”
