‘Anna Pigeon’ Episode 6 Exclusive Clip: Who Killed Kay—and Is It the Same Person That Targeted Anna in the Cave?

Anna Pigeon Season 1 Episode 6 (titled “There’s Always a Road”) continues the events introduced in Episode 5, which found Anna fighting for her life and heroically escaping the cave after being pushed inside by an unknown attacker that remains at large.

But though she made it out alive, she’s not in the clear just yet, and the fight is far from over.

Instead, the focus turns to getting answers, namely, who killed Kay and who trapped Anna in the cave. Are they the same person?

That mystery remains top of mind during the second-half of the episode, which premieres on Friday, Sept. 10 on the USA Network.

CraveYouTV got an exclusive sneak peek, which finds Anna teaming up with FBI agent Frederick to put the pieces together and figure out not only who wanted to keep her trapped as a prisoner in the cave—but why

“Do you have any other theories?” he asks.

Anna suggests it could’ve been the college kid she ticketed on the beach, noting he was a “real piece of work” with Oppositional Defiant Disorder, who threatened that she’d pay after she smashed his radio.

“I might have my own case of ODD… anyway,” she tells Frederick, brushing off the fact that she’s prone to making enemies within the picturesque woods.

But did he know Kay? Was this simply a matter of crossing the wrong person? As they try to come up with a logical play-by-play of events, they land on the fact that it may have just been a “crime of opportunity that’s gone all kinds of wrong.”

There’s definitely motive, as Anna notes that maybe he was covering up the murder and didn’t anticipate getting caught until Anna accidentally witnessed it, forcing him to pivot and trap her.

But if he’s getting rid of loose ends, Frederick has one question—”If he killed Kay, why didn’t he kill you?”

The attacker was almost toying with Anna, but there’s no obvious connection between them.

Neither Frederick nor Anna can land on a logical explanation, so she suggests, “Maybe we should go ask him,” which is presumably where they’re heading.

The fact that Anna and Frederick are trying to figure this out either means that Anna wasn’t able to lead them back to the cave, or (and this is more probable), once she got there, the suspect escaped, meaning he’s not working alone.

Either way, the mystery surrounding what happened to Anna before she was pushed into the cave deepens, as does the reason behind why Kay was murdered in the first place.

Anna may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time, or what happened to her in that cave has nothing to do with Kay’s dead body in the first place and is somehow connected to a different part of her life—like her husband’s mysterious murder. Maybe Anna was targeted? Does it have something to do with local landowner Jeremiah?

If anyone can figure this out with a fierce determination, it’s Anna—at the very least, I hope there’s some satisfying conclusion for audiences.

And if this exclusive clip is any indication, we’re getting a lot more Anna and Frederick time, as there’s finally a solid reason for them to work together. We already know he has a secret crush on Anna and is looking into her husband’s death on the downlow for her, so it’ll be fun to explore their chemistry in a more intimate setting, especially as he’s motivated to protect her at all costs.

We’ll have to tune in to Anna Pigeon Season 1 Episode 6 on Friday, Sept. 10, 2026, 10/9 CT, to see how it pans out.
