Big Brother Spoilers: A Shifting Nominee Spells Trouble For The Toolshed Alliance

Could the replacement nominee be the unraveling of The Toolshed?

Please, let it be so! We need some good news on Big Brother Season 28.

Unfortunately, not about the target, but some splintering of the majority alliance.

As our TV Fanatics reported, Head of Household Haley made the first strike by nominating fellow ally Drew on the block.

Currently, he’s sitting next to Melody and Taylor.

Unbeknownst to him, he is Haley’s main target. And if he loses the BB Blockbuster on Thursday night, he’ll be evicted.

Yet, he isn’t seeing the blindside coming!

Drew’s biggest flaw, even as a Big Brother superfan, is putting all his trust in the wrong alliance(s). Members of The Red Corner and The Crossovers view him as untrustworthy.

He’s slowly destroying his game by not accurately assessing his position.

Are His Days Numbered?

Drew had an early chance to avoid the nomination block.

Theories online have Drew as the recent winner of the Time Capsule twist, and more specifically, he won the Coin of Destiny. If true, he could’ve had a 50/50 chance of overthrowing Haley’s HOH.

Unfortunately, he didn’t use it.

Now, he’s stuck on the block and must play out the week as a nominee.

What makes his outlook more grim is that he lost the Power of Veto, too.

In a surprise move, under-the-radar houseguest Taylor scored her first win. Obviously, she’ll remove herself from the block during Monday’s POV ceremony.

Taylor wasn’t the leading evictee, so the targets are still firmly set on Drew and Melody.

Drew needed this win to reignite his game momentum. No one is warning him or telling him the truth of his impending doom.

Thursday’s BB Blockbuster is a make-or-break moment for him.

A New Nominee Emerges–Will It Help Drew’s Chances?

With Taylor eventually coming off the block, Haley will need to nominate someone new.

Previously, she planned for Mallory.

Haley wants the least blood on her hands. She’s already made a bold move by going after Drew.

Choosing Mallory is a safe way to get someone outside of her alliance out, and Mallory has shown herself capable of winning BB Blockbusters.

Keeping Mallory on the block almost guarantees Drew loses Thursday’s competition. Then, his fate would be sealed.

However, Haley is now pivoting her plans to nominate Lyric.

She still wants a safe week with the least amount of blood. And based on previous weeks, the pair never truly got along.

There were tensions long back when Lyric was wrapped up in a showmance with Rome.

In the weeks since, she got closer to other members in The Toolshed. Specifically, she’s cultivating a friendship with Kamu.

A friendship that got even closer when he was HOH during Big Brother Season 28 Week 3.

If Lyric gets nominated, she’ll still be safer than Drew or Melody.

The tides would have to shift for Drew to convince his alliance to go after Lyric instead.

Everyone knows that he’s in a close friendship (or showmance?) with Melody. So, breaking up their duo would be an advantageous move by The Red Corner.

Plus, there’s been a lot of arguments about Drew playing both sides.

Angela, Dee, and Haley have gone back and forth for weeks now. They love him, they hate him. There’s no in-between when it comes to Drew in their eyes.

Unless he wins BB Blockbuster or opens his eyes, his game will take a huge hit Thursday.

Another Nail In The Coffin.

The Toolshed, and every sub-group within, has been running the Big Brother Season 28 house for a month now.

They have won every HOH, picking off the other side one-by-one. It’s been a steamroll of terrible proportions.

It’s very reminicent of Big Brother Season 22. (And we all remember how awful that summer turned out!)

In recent weeks, however, the group has openly talked about when to target each other.

Drew’s nomination is the first official strike within. Regardless if he leaves or survives, the damage has been done. A spark has formed, it only needs air to become fire.

Barrett hasn’t helped Drew in the slightest.

He hasn’t told his friend about his threat level, or that he’s the target for eviction.

Also, he’s barely helped Mallory avoid the block. Barrett is afraid and has barely played the game in his own hands.

He’s incapable of making a move against the veterans or The Red Corner.

Unless he can find the fire inside of him, Barrett will slide into being a quiet nomination. Eventually, it’ll be an even more lackluster eviction.

The true conflict within The Toolshed could stem from The Red Corner and the reality TV icons.

The sub-groups formed a web of relationships, but it’s no secret that there are tensions within each. Dee and Devens have a tight duo, with Angela as a close ally within.

Meanwhile, the houseguests are getting furstrated with Haley. They’ve gone back and forth with their favorability of the current HOH.

Now, enter Kamu’s growing friendship with Lyric.

Haley wants her nominated, and she wants Kamu in the room with her to tell Lyric the news.

Why would he ever agree to this? It makes no sense!

Haley wants Kamu to share in the backlash from her decision. He’s already dealing with the fallout from Jason’s eviction; this could be another needless mark on his resume.

It’s only a matter of time before The Toolshed breaks apart.

Everyone has noticed how powerful the alliance has become. Plus, if all the competition threats make the jury, it’ll be a tougher second phase of the season to reach the finals.

And why would you want someone in the jury who could beat you or not vote for you?

“The Judges” didn’t form until Big Brother Season 27 Week 6, and they toppled the competing majority alliance. It’s never too late for the houseguests to set themselves up for success post-Toolshed.

As our TV Fanatic Whitney Evans has said, we need this steamroll to end. It’ll be better for everyone, especially for The Toolshed members.
