CBS Midseason Schedule: Criminal Minds’ Final Season, NCIS: New Orleans on the Move, and More!

Spoilers

The final season of Criminal Minds finally has a premiere date.

The series will return for its 15th season Wednesday, January 8 at 9/8c.

CBS will give the show a two-hour premiere, and there will be another double episode week down the line because the show is set to wrap Wednesday, February 19.

It’s likely to be a two-hour finale, but there’s not telling what the Eye network plans to do.

SEAL Team is going on hiatus to accomodate Criminal Minds, and will return to the schedule February 26.

On the freshman front, FBI: Most Wanted will launch Tuesday, January 7 at 10/9c out of the original series.

That also means that NCIS: New Orleans is on the move. The veteran NCIS spinoff will join NCIS: Los Angeles on Sundays once Madam Secretary wraps.

It will return to the air Sunday, February 16, meaning that there will be an extended hiatus from the holiday break to the new episodes.

MacGyver will finally return from its extended hiatus Friday February 7 at 8/7c. That means Hawaii Five-0 is moving back an hour to 9/8c.

Magnum P.I. will then go on hiatus until MacGyver has wrapped its 22 episode run. CBS recently ordered a back 9 for the series.

Finally, new Dedio Falco drama, Tommy, will replace EVIL on Thursdays when it wraps its freshman run.

Editor’s Note: Our system got updated! Now, you’ll be able to scroll through many articles at once. That required a bit of a change to the comments, though, and now you have to click the blue “comments” bar at the bottom of an article to access them.

There are also two segments to comments now. You can either comment using Facebook or Disqus. Either way, you can SEE both types of comments. We hope that will be more inclusive of our community at large and that the conversations will grow as a result.
