This was such an incredible episode to watch, and also a perfect way to have Isaiah be written out of the show without having him either die or just never be mentioned again.
The start of this episode was so fun to watch, I don’t think we have ever seen this type of filming on FBI before but I will happily take more of it. It was very much like a video game but it drew me in straight away.
It also meant that we got to see exactly what Isaiah’s thought process was with just camera angles which was so fun to watch.
I loved that we got a little update on OA’s personal life with seeing Zara and him together. I was hoping that we would get to see them together again after last season and it’s great to see that they have survived through OA’s op.
OA is clearly still struggling with coming back to reality again, but I find it so interesting that he isn’t willing to talk to anyone. Even Maggie, it’s definitely going to be intriguing to see how he is going to deal with the trauma of his time undercover. Hopefully he eventually opens up to either Zara or Maggie properly.
Even if Maggie and OA weren’t back to their complete selves, I really did love seeing them back together again. Watching them have each other’s back despite them not being on perfect terms was so great. The duality is so fun to watch.
I love that in the past two episodes that we have got to a see a different side to ADIC Green. Last season I hated him but this season we’re getting to see him be a bit more human.
Rowland was so incredibly good as Isaiah this episode. Even when we had the different camera angles we could tell based on his breathing and frantic movements how stressed he was and then the transition into the normal way we see them was perfect. It’s a shame we are losing him so soon because he has been great.
I am so interested to see what is going to happen with OA and his mental state in the coming episodes. He may still have aspects of who he used to be before the OP but there a definitely some parts that have changed his outlook on the job.
I am really looking forward to seeing how this season unfolds for the team as they get back to normality.
