Well, that’s one way to end things, House of Villains.
After spending most of the season rooting for Drita D’Avanzo, I never thought I’d end the finale pulling for literally anyone else.
And yet… here we are.
Drita is undeniably great TV. Anyone who’s watched her on Mob Wives knows she brings chaos, honesty, and exactly the kind of energy reality TV needs.
But as a competitor? These last few episodes did her no favors.
The fallout with Christine Quinn and Paul Abrahamian was messy in the worst way.
This alliance took out everyone they didn’t want at the end, and then Drita completely unraveled the second the target shifted to her during the competition.
What did she expect?
There’s $200,000 on the line. Of course, whoever won was going to take the shot.
Drita Needed to Do More on House of Villains
Her meltdown about people being fake and disloyal wasn’t just over-the-top — it hurt her case. If anything, that should have been the moment the jury started questioning her.
Christine, meanwhile, actually played the game.
Putting Drita on the Hit List right after promising her safety was ruthless, but it was also the kind of move you have to respect. She took a swing when it mattered most.
Did it backfire? Completely. But at least she was trying to win.
And that’s what makes the result so frustrating.
Because somehow, despite all of that, the jury handed Drita a landslide victory, and it just doesn’t track.
If we’re talking gameplay, Christine had the stronger case.
But the real winner should have been Kate Chastain.
Kate Had a Great Story
She was targeted early, kept her composure, and then stepped up when it counted. Those back-to-back wins shifted the entire game, and she played it smart without losing what made her entertaining.
Seriously, where was the respect for her game?
She checked every box and still came up short, which makes the outcome feel even more off.
Make it make sense.
At the very least, the Below Deck alum needs to come back. If Tiffany “New York” Pollard can keep returning, there’s no reason Kate shouldn’t get another shot.
The only question is whether she’d even want to, because after a run like this, she’d have a massive target on her back from day one.
Still, it’s hard not to wonder what she and New York could do if they aligned and ran it all the way to the end together.
They’d be unstoppable.
But before any of that, we need a renewal.
Because if this is how House of Villains Season 3 ends, Season 4 has a lot to prove. The series is fantastic, and while I may not agree with the winner, I believe it’s one of the better competition series on the air.
It’s far more interesting than The Traitors, which I love. House of Villains doesn’t take itself seriously. It’s sheer entertainment.
