In first place we have Molly Parker as Dr. Amy Larsen on Doc.
Molly Parker delivers another compelling and emotionally layered performance, capturing Amy Larsen’s growing confidence while maintaining the vulnerability that makes her character so engaging. Her understated expressions and naturalistic delivery beautifully convey Amy’s struggle to balance professional responsibility with the uncertainties of her past. Parker particularly excels in moments of quiet tension, allowing subtle changes in her expression to reveal emotions that Amy struggles to articulate. Her interactions with colleagues demonstrate a convincing mixture of authority, empathy, and self-doubt. It is a nuanced and deeply human performance that once again establishes Parker as the emotional anchor of the series.
In second place we have Olivia Cooke as Sidonie ‘Sid’ Baker on Slow Horses.
Olivia Cooke makes a wonderfully entertaining return as Sid Baker, effortlessly recapturing the character’s sharp wit, intelligence, and unmistakable confidence. Her chemistry with Jack Lowden remains exceptional, with their sarcastic exchanges providing both humor and underlying emotional tension. Cooke skillfully suggests that Sid’s years away have left her more guarded and suspicious without sacrificing her wonderfully abrasive personality. She moves seamlessly between moments of suspense, vulnerability, and dry comedy, bringing tremendous energy to every scene. Her charismatic performance makes Sid’s long-awaited return one of the episode’s most rewarding elements.
In third place we have Alice Braga as Amanda Lucas on Dark Matter.
Alice Braga delivers a beautifully restrained and emotionally intelligent performance, grounding the show’s increasingly complicated science-fiction narrative in genuine human emotion. She captures Amanda’s growing exhaustion and uncertainty while maintaining the compassion and resilience that define her character. Braga is particularly impressive in her confrontations with Jason 2, communicating disappointment, frustration, and lingering affection through subtle expressions and carefully measured dialogue. Her ability to convey mounting anxiety without resorting to melodrama makes Amanda’s predicament especially affecting. It is a thoughtful and quietly powerful performance that reinforces Braga’s importance to the series.
