Believe it or not, fans actually uncovered the information while looking for another pro dancer’s wedding date. Brandon Armstrong and his fiancee Brylee Ivers are getting married on July 30 after a short engagement. While discussing it on a Reddit post, someone else pointed out that they found Artem and Nikki’s wedding information too.
A quick search on The Knot reveals that Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Bella plan to marry on September 4, 2022. Their destination is planned for somewhere in Massachusetts, which is pretty far from the couple’s California residence. The couple also password-protected their wedding website and registry, so it’s not available for public viewing.
Both Nikki and Artem are incredibly busy people, so it’s likely that they wanted to tie the knot before Dancing With The Stars started up for the year. Artem is expected to return for Season 31, which kicks off on September 19. He’ll have just enough time to get married and have a quick honeymoon before going to Los Angeles to film.
The couple has previously been very cryptic about their wedding plans
Some DWTS fans are actually really surprised to see that Nikki and Artem’s wedding is happening this fall. Even as late as this March, Nikki said on her podcast that she and Artem were content being unmarried for the time being. She added that she and Artem really did want to be married, but they didn’t see a need to rush things.
So what exactly changed for the couple?
No one can exactly be sure why Nikki and Artem chose to get married this September instead of waiting. But both of them have full schedules, so it’s likely that they just found a time window that really worked for both of them.
