Tonight at the end of Bachelor In Paradise there was a tribute to Craig Sjodin. A lot of people didn’t realize who he was. He was important to Bachelor Nation and also to General Hospital. So who is Craig Sjodin and why did the show pay tribute to him?
Who Was Craig Sjodin?
Craig Sjodin was behind the scenes for all of Bachelor Nation and was very important to the shows. He worked for ABC and Disney both but for about 40 years. He worked on all of the Bachelor shows. So what did he do? He was actually a photographer. Craig worked on the soap opera General Hospital in the same role.
Sjodin passed away on Sept. 15, 2023, following a biking accident at the age of 67. There are not a lot of details about his death or what happened in the accident, though. This tribute at the end of the show was a way to remember him. A lot of people didn’t realize who he was when they shared his name at the end of the show.
General Hospital also paid tribute to him on their show. They shared that Craig had retired just last month and was looking forward to traveling with his family before his death. He was survived by his wife of 30 years, Esther Bekhore Sjodin, his son Ryan, and his sisters Brenda, Nancy Nickoloff, and Linda Hughes. He was really into bike riding.

Who Was Roberto Zaktzer?
At the end of Golden Bachelor, there was a tribute to Roberto Zaktzer. She was actually a good friend of Ellen who was on the show trying to find love with Gerry Turner. She said that her friend Roberto talked to her about joining the show. It turned out that she passed away. They decided to pay tribute to her at the end of the show.
