They soon learned that he had diabetes, and it has been a learning curve for the couple. Sean Lowe’s Son Gave Him Quite A Scare
It was terrifying when Bachelor alums Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici’s son, Isaiah, was extremely sick in early summer 2026. He had been urinating an excessive amount as well as losing weight. This was concerning to the pediatrician, and soon enough, he was in the ER. It was soon discovered that he had type 1 diabetes, something his parents had to adjust to, which was not easy. Luckily, they had an incredible online support system that was able to guide them and make them feel less alone.
Two months later, the couple and Isaiah have ventured to New York City to see a doctor who could help immensely. Sean Lowe shared this information via social media:
“There’s a doctor up there who is doing some exciting medical treatment for patients with new onset diabetes. Prayers appreciated!”
He and Catherine explained that Isaiah was thrilled to get to miss a week of school and go on an adventure. Moreover, Catherine loved seeing the sights through Isaiah’s eyes, as it made her feel like a child again. She even filmed him on the flight, seeing as it was his first time in New York.
Although this trip had a very important purpose, as Sean Lowe stated, Isaiah had a positive outlook. After seeing the video Catherine Giudici posted, fans and followers loved it. Moreover, they loved his enthusiasm and shared that they felt the same way about the Big Apple.
A Hopeful Adventure
This trip could change Isaiah’s life, so Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici are remaining very hopeful. However, this is still an adventure because, as aforementioned, Isaiah has never been to New York City. Therefore, they are trying to make the most of it. So far, they have stopped at Central Park Zoo, played with boats at Central Park, and enjoyed some of the cuisine. Followers were thrilled that the Lowe family was on the move, even with the serious intent of the trip:
