For the rest of Season 8, Beat Shazam fans will be able to see their favorite show two times per week. The game show is undergoing a schedule change.
Beat Shazam just came back for another season, but the Fox show is already making some changes. It typically airs on Tuesday nights at 9/8c, but for the rest of the season, fans will get to see Beat Shazam on Mondays and Tuesdays.
An Instagram post shared on Monday, August 24 said, “More music. More fun. More money. Tune in to #BeatShazam tonight and tomorrow, starting at 8/7c on FOX!”
In the video, hosts Jamie and Corinne Foxx reveal who makes it through to the next round of the three teams of women. One team knocked another out and advanced to the next round.
However, that schedule change is not just for one night. A rep confirmed the rest of the season’s schedule with TV Insider.
Next week, there will also be Monday and Tuesday episodes. On August 31, there will be two episodes beginning at 8/7c. Then, on September 1, there will be one episode at 9/8c.
Then, on Monday, September 7, the Season 8 finale will kick off at 8/7c with two episodes. The season finale will also be the show’s 100th episode.
Beat Shazam‘s creator and executive producer Jeff Apploff told us about the special episode before the season kicked off. “We look back and see the fun things that we’ve done, and we also have special music. It’s an amazing tribute.”
The schedule change comes just one week after two of Fox’s game shows ended for the season. The Quiz With Balls and The 1% Club, which usually occupy Fox’s Monday night lineup in the summer, both aired their season finales on August 17.
Beat Shazam is a game show where three teams of two try to be the fastest to lock in the correct song. Whoever is in the lead by the end of the game gets the chance to go up against Shazam, where they have the chance to win $1 million.
