Elsbeth Tascioni is back on the case in Elsbeth Season 4, which means Carrie Preston and the crew are back on the set of the procedural. Photos from the set of Season 4 reveal two of the detectives who are coming back this season, premiering Thursday, October 8, on CBS.
In Elsbeth, a spinoff of The Good Wife and The Good Fight, astute but unconventional attorney Elsbeth Tascioni (Preston) utilizes her singular point of view to make unique observations and corner brilliant criminals alongside the NYPD. Elsbeth is a lawyer who works under a Department of Justice consent decree as an independent observer.
The consent decree mandates that Elsbeth is escorted by police officers while on the job. Kaya Blanke (Carra Patterson) used to be Elsbeth’s escort, but the escorts have been assigned on a rotating basis ever since Kaya took a new job as an undercover agent/detective on a special task force.
Britne Oldford and Molly Price play two of Elsbeth’s chaperones, Detectives Nina Taylor and Jackie Donnelly, respectively. Oldford and Price have been spotted on set with Preston during Season 4 filming in New York City this summer. You can see them in the gallery below.

The Elsbeth Season 3 finale ended on a hopeful note, with Elsbeth’s shiny outlook on life being validated and her son, Teddy (Ben Levi Ross), getting engaged.
“I think that the character of Elsbeth is a reminder that we don’t all have to be jaded. We don’t all have to be cynical,” showrunner Jonathan Tolins told TV Insider of the Season 3 ending. “In a world where things can be really awful, being positive and cheerful without being naive is a choice and also a discipline. And I think that that’s something that’s inspiring about the character.”
