Mayor of Kingstown is coming to an end soon. The fifth and final season of the Taylor Sheridan-verse crime drama has completed production, and the stars of the show have been sharing some behind-the-scenes snaps that give fans a few clues about what to expect from its final bow.
Production on MOK ran from March through June.
The new season, per the official description, will pick up in the wake of Tracy’s murder — and Kyle’s (Taylor Handley) execution of Callahan in front of Mike (Jeremy Renner) — with an FBI agent named Russell Hardy (portrayed by series newcomer David Morse), who’s on the hunt for Callahan in Kingstown. “A true lawman, Agent Hardy threatens to unearth all of Mike’s sins and secrets, and disrupt Kingstown’s tenuous balance of power,” the description warns.
Season 5 also sees the return of Laura Benanti as Cindy, Hugh Dillon as Ian (and executive producer), Tobi Bamtefa as Bunny Washington, Derek Webster as Stevie, Necar Zadegan as Evelyn, Nichole Galicia as Rebecca, and Lennie James as Frank Moses.
