It’s been an interesting summer in the Big Brother house. As the summer starts to come to a close, the competitions are heating up more than ever. However, this last one brought an unexpected twist. Although it doesn’t seem like this twist was planned. Keep reading to find out what happened and why fans think there’s a ghost in the BB house.
The Summer Of Icons
This summer has been one full of icon victories in the Big Brother house, especially the duo from Survivor, Dee and Devens. Last week, the ‘newbies’ finally had their chance to get out one of the biggest threats in the game. However, they opted to take out Angela instead. While Angela was also an icon in the game, Dee and Devens have had much more control over the house.
While icons continue to rule the house even with Angela gone, the competitions are starting to heat up. This week, houseguests played an iconic game – the BB Pressure Cooker. In this legendary competition, houseguests have to stay in one spot all night long, generally holding on to a button or something similar. As soon as someone slips up and releases the pressure, they are out. This comp has been known to last over 13 hours, so it’s pretty intense.
This season, houseguests had to hold a thin sword to a platform several feet in front of them. While it may not sound too hard, the competition takes place overnight and, as mentioned above, lasts more than 13 hours before a winner is finally crowned.
However, while the houseguests fought for safety, fans noticed something else in the room – a ghost.
A Ghost In The Big Brother Comp
Fans got to watch the pressure cooker competition unfold live on the BB live feeds. During this time, several people saw what seemed to be a ghost float behind Drew, The Sun reports.
Fans instantly went online to discuss what they saw.
- “Omg, I’ve seen it, so creepy!”
- “Shadow people!”
Others were far more reasonable, noting that it was probably just a member of the production team. Or even Taylor who was the only houseguest not playing in the competition.
- “It’s almost like they are in a TV studio with dozens of production staff working in the background.”
Someone else noted it could be the ghost of Haley Thogmartin. Haley was evicted just a few weeks ago, however, not because she was voted out by her fellow housemates. Instead, she simply couldn’t beat a series of competitions she played in and was ultimately sent home.
