Fans love Bachelor in Paradise alum Carly Waddell and can’t get enough of her. They have followed her journey threw a few different heartbreaks. The first was during her debut on The Bachelor with Chris Soules. Next was on BIP with Kirk DeWindt. Then finally she met Evan Bass on BIP and they married, had two children and divorced. Carly Waddell’s ex is getting married
While Carly is still single, one of her exes has found love. So, which of Carly Waddell’s exes is getting hitched? The answer would be her second Bachelor Nation relationship, Kirk DeWindt. He went to social media to share the big and exciting news that he is engaged.
Kirk went to Instagram to share a photo of himself with his new fiance. He is kissing her cheek and she is smiling and holding her hand up showing of her ring. In another photo, Kirk is driving a boat and his fiance is holding her hand up in front of the camera displaying a closer look at her ring.
Kirk is marrying Jess Peterson. He met her on Bumble two years after his split from Carly on the beach. Kirk and Jess met in 2017 and have been together ever since. They both enjoy outdoor adventures including hunting.
Prior to Bachelor in Paradise, Kirk made his Bachelorette debut on Ali Fedotowsky’s season of the show.
His breakup with Carly
Carly recently spoke out about her failed relationship with Kirk. When they met on Bachelor in Paradise, they were pretty hot and heavy. In fact, Carly believed and had no doubt they would leave the beach together as a couple.
However, he broke up with her on the final day of filming. Carly was blindsided and there are reasons why. She revealed on a recent podcast that she was shocked and thought it was a joke because twenty minutes before he broke up with her, he told her he couldn’t wait to take her home and show her his house. Cameras did not catch that conversation.
In the end, Carly found out there was another woman in Kirk’s life. She spoke to him after filming which is when she found out. Carly said she was glad it was another woman and not that something was wrong with her.
