Blake Shelton Has Moved On
There have been many rumors regarding Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s marriage. It is unclear how happy they truly are, but they seem committed to staying together. They formed a good friendship while filming The Voice, and he was still married to Miranda Lambert. Blake and Miranda met in 2006, got engaged in 2010, and tied the knot in 2011. However, by 2015, they had filed for divorce, around the same time that Gwen’s marriage to Gavin Rossdale was ending. Miranda got remarried in 2019, while Blake and Gwen were married in 2021.
It seemed that Miranda and Blake’s marriage had been put in the past, but she recently spoke about it on the And The Writer Is… podcast. She explained how the hurt and pain of the end of that marriage propelled her into a new level of songwriting. It’s her story to tell, yet it allegedly blindsided her ex-husband. Apparently, Blake thought that since it had been over a decade, it would not be a hot topic, per an insider:
“He really thought they’d both put that chapter behind them. He’s not angry, he accepts that she has the right to talk about her life and, truth be told, he does feel bad.”
Allegedly, Blake Shelton holds no ill will toward Miranda Lambert and is upset that any good memories are being replaced with anger:
“He’s not holding onto any bitterness towards Miranda. If anything, he thinks it’s sad that things ended on such bad terms, especially because they had so many wonderful years together.”
Holding Out Hope
It seems that Blake Shelton is supposedly holding out hope that he and Miranda Lambert could ultimately be friends. Interestingly enough, Miranda was not saying anything bad about Blake in the present. Rather, she made it clear that this heartbreak only made her a better artist and songwriter. So, it was bad that twisted into good. Fans and followers had no sympathy for Blake, as there have been rumors that he cheated on his first wife with Miranda:
