Bobby Flay left Food Network fans gushing over his sweet birthday tribute for Brooke Williamson.
Back in March 2025, news broke that the celebrity chefs’ friendship had turned into a romance. Both have been married before and share children with former partners: Flay shares his daughter, Sophie, with his second wife, Kate Connelly, and Williamson shares her son, Hudson, with her ex-husband, Nick Roberts.
On Saturday, August 15, Flay took to Instagram to commemorate Williamson’s 48th birthday. “Happy birthday to the most talented chef in the universe, @chefbrookew,” he wrote alongside photos of himself and his girlfriend. “She’s pretty cute too! Xo.”
Fans shared their love for Flay’s birthday post in the comments section and sent their own birthday wishes to Williamson. “Happy Birthday @chefbrookew!!!!! You & Mr. Flay are absolutely ADORABLE together!!!! He needs to put a ring on it…. Ahemmmm @bobbyflay,” one user wrote. Another added, “Happy Birthday Brooke!! Williamson thanked Flay for the tribute in a comment of her own, writing, “I love you forever.” She later shared a glimpse of her birthday celebrations by sharing a new pic with Flay via Instagram.
“From the very bottom of my exploded heart, thank you for all of the most beautifully wonderful birthday wishes,” Williamson captioned the Monday, August 17, upload, which featured a photo of Flay by her side as she blew out the candles on her birthday cake. In the post’s comments, Flay wrote, “Happy birthday, beautiful.”
The couple previously revealed whether or not they were interested in tying the knot during a joint interview on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show in March. “I wouldn’t do that to her,” Flay said of getting married again. Williamson, for her part, added, “I don’t have some major emphasis on marriage where I feel like it’s a necessary thing… It’s a conversation, and we both need to be on the same page, and we are.”
Flay went on to explain why he gifted Williamson a diamond ring despite having no interest in marriage. “Before I gave her the ring, I said, ‘I just want to make sure, I want to have this conversation with you one more time. Please. I’m sorry that we keep talking about this. I just want to make sure that marriage is not something that you want to do again because it’s not something that I think I can do again.’ And she’s like, ‘No. Absolutely. I’m totally fine with not ever getting married again,’” he told People.
He continued, “I said, ‘Okay, great. Well, in that case, I got you a gift.’ And she opened it up, and I was like, ‘I think, for fun, you should wear it on the opposite hand of your engagement.’”
