Not every relationship is filled with happiness. After Denise Richards detailed her abusive relationship with her husband, Aaron Phypers, Brandi Glanville has some things to say about it. Keep reading to learn more about Aaron and Denise’s relationship and how Brandi has gotten involved.
Denise Richards Opens Up
Recently, Denise Richards has been open about the horrors of her ex-husband. While the couple seemed to have a fairy tale love story at first, it’s been quite the opposite. Apparently, Aaron was very abusive, which Denise has been honest about. At first, he would harm her in places she could hide, like her arms. However, after he gave her a black eye, she realized this was not going to be good.
“It was stuff that I could hide, on my arms or something. And then he gave me a black eye. And that was when I was like, ‘Oh, f—. What am I gonna do now? How am I gonna tell people?’ It was awful,” she recounts.
Of course, following the attacks, Aaron would be incredibly remorseful, seemingly sucking Denise back in. As previously reported, his remorse would make Denise feel bad for him in return.
While this has been a tough, ongoing situation for Denise, Brandi Glanville is getting involved. The Real Housewives star has some of her own thoughts on the situation.
Brandi Glanville Responds
According to Reality Blurb!, Brandi has always had beef with Denise. This all stems from Brandi saying that she and Denise actually slept together days after she married Aaron. Of course, Denise denies that that ever happened. Even though that was years ago now, Brandi still holds a grudge.
After Denise opened up about her abuser on a podcast, Brandi shared with her own podcast that she thought it was ‘whack’ to be talking about her abusive situation on a podcast.
“That is so whack to be talking about that on a podcast,” Brandi says.
While Brandi agrees that Aaron was ‘aggressive’ with Denise, she still thinks talking about it on a podcast was taking things too far.
“It was like he would grab her arm and like, you know, just like… You know, like ‘Come on, let’s go. Don’t talk about that.’ Like, that was always, like, kind of, like, looming in the background, like people were saying it,” she says. “But I just don’t think talking about it on… I mean…”
