Tarek, Heather Rae El Moussa, and Christina Haack are proud parents as one of their kids celebrates a major birthday.
Haack and Tarek, who were married from 2009 to 2018, share two children, Taylor and Brayden. Tarek went on to marry Heather in 2021, and they welcomed their son, Tristan, in 2023. Haack also shares her youngest son, Hudson, with her second husband, Ant Anstead, whom she was married to from 2018 to 2021.
The proud parents took to Instagram on Thursday, August 20, to celebrate Brayden’s 11th birthday. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY Brayden! 11 years!!” Haack captioned a slideshow of photos of her eldest son over the years. “Brayden is the sweetest, kindest, most caring boy. He is so smart, funny, and witty. He is an old soul and can sense when the energy in the room is even slightly off and knows exactly what to say or do to make things better. Our talks are my favorite talks and our dinners are my favorite dinners.”
Concluding her tribute on a sweet note, Haack wrote, “I love every stage of life as his mom. He makes life better in every way. I adore you my son.”
Tarek, for his part, got emotional while sharing a montage of clips of Brayden with family and friends. “I can’t stop watching this!!! Why do our babies grow so fast!!” he captioned his Instagram upload. “Happy birthday to my big boy Bray Bray!!!! I can’t believe you are 11 years old today and I am so proud of the young man you are. Kind, loving, and always hardworking of course! And I just love our video games, steak dinner, and our knotts berry farm and wild rivers days! I am so excited for our dinner tonight and I love you so much!!
He added, “From me and the world…HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!
Heather also posted a mix of throwback and recent photos of Brayden, including a sweet snap of him holding baby Tristan. “Bray Bray, I can’t even believe that you are turning 11 years old. Time is a thief,” she shared. “You are such a special soul. I love you so so much!! I’m so grateful to have you in my life. Happy birthday, handsome boy.”
In the comments of Heather’s post, Haack gushed, “The old pics make me [cry]. Time flies too fast.” Heather replied, “Makes me cry.”
Tarek’s own birthday falls one day after Brayden’s, and Heather took to Instagram to share a sweet birthday tribute for her husband on Friday, August 21. “Happy birthday to my love. I can’t believe we are celebrating another birthday together, seven years together… seven years of celebrations!” she wrote. “Life is a series of ups and downs, and we’ve definitely gone through it. Thank you for being such a hard worker for our family and so dedicated to us, you truly are the best dad! I love your heart even when we are fighting lol.”
Heather continued, “Happy 45th, handsome man, and cheers to celebrating many, many more. I love you. Xoxo Bunny.”
Haack wished her ex-husband a happy birthday in the post’s comments and hinted that she will be celebrating the occasion with him. “Happy Birthday @therealtarekelmoussa !! Going to be a fun weekend!” she shared.
Haack will soon reunite with Tarek and Heather on the small screen, as the trio is currently filming Season 2 of HGTV‘s The Flip Off. In recent social media updates, Heather confirmed production is still ongoing and clarified that she and Haack will not compete together against Tarek.
