Craig Conover’s homeless look was the talk of social media. A photo of the Southern Charm star posing with three female fans. The Bravo star wore his hair long and sported baggy jeans, a blue sweat-soaked T-shirt under a checkered flannel. It was definitely not the way fans are used to seeing him.
Craig Conover took to Instagram to explain his new look. In a now-expired post captured by Reality Blurb, he revealed that the look wasn’t him. It was a character he’s playing. “I’m filming a project. We just wrapped. It’s 12-hour days when you do scripted stuff. I thought [it] was very clear that I don’t look like that. Maybe I do,” he wrote.
“Anyway, even if I did look like that, we’re here to entertain y’all. Life is short. Have fun. Smile more. Laugh. And yes, I’m on a scripted project. That’s my character that I’m playing at some point,” Craig Conover added.
What We Know About His Upcoming Movie Role
According to multiple online sources, the Southern Charm star landed a role in the indie dramedy Caroline Fletcher from director Ellyn Vander Wyden. Schitt’s Creek star Chris Elliott and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s Caroline Aaron are also in the movie.
The Hollywood Reporter shared a synopsis of the upcoming movie. The indie film “follows an 11-year-old girl who has learned to survive a working-class upbringing and crime the only way she knows how — by conning her way through it. When her mother is arrested and the town bully threatens what remains of her family, she launches the biggest scheme of her young life.”
