Crystal Kung Minkoff is officially out at the RHOBH after three seasons. The wife of Disney’s Rob Minkoff confirmed her departure via her Instagram after the news started to circulate. Keep reading to see what she had to say about exiting the series.

Crystal Kung Minkoff Out At RHOBH

After joining in Season 11, Crystal Kung Minkoff will not be back for Season 14 of RHOBH. The biggest question mark for the upcoming season has been OG Kyle Richards. She had been through a lot in the past two seasons between issues with her sister, Kathy Hilton, and separating from her husband, Mauricio Umansky. Dorit Kemsley was also up in the air as fans had questioned if she was worthy of being asked back for full-time status. Now, Crystal has been dropped from the series, according to Daily Mail. An insider shared that the reason for her being not asked back was a lack of storyline.

The insider had this to say:

“They don’t want her back because they feel she has done all she can do on the show and she no longer has much to add to the drama, so another contract has not been offered. They appreciate her contributions to the show, and the parting is not ugly, but it just is time to move on.”

In the long run, it seems she is not so bummed about the turn of events:

“She wanted to leave the show for a while, she is sick of all the fighting and hashing things out, it became like a never-ending rollercoaster for her. Plus she wants to focus on her family away from the cameras.”

After outlets picked this up, Crystal Kung Minkoff took to her own Instagram to share her thoughts. She shared that she was always grateful every year that she was asked back to the show. More so, she was so thankful to be able to share her ED story and her father’s battle with Alzheimer’s. She has touched a lot of people and will be back very soon in another capacity.

In her caption, Crystal thanked NBCUniversal, Alex Baskin, and Andy Cohen while Tamra Judge called her a “class act.”

It’s Been A Tough Time

Prior to this announcement, Crystal Kung Minkoff had shared how she had been the victim of a home invasion. She and her family were out of the country while friends were watching their house. However, they did not have their usual extremely tight security measures and it was terrifying for those involved. Now, they are making sure no stone is left unturned when it comes to ensuring their house is extremely safe at all times. Aside from that, Crystal appears ready to take on the world and whatever it has in store for her next.
