Dancing With the Stars: The Next Pro

After training amateurs last week, the remaining contenders for a coveted pro spot on Dancing With the Stars get to show what they’ve got by choreographing a routine alongside one of DWTS‘ veteran pro dancers. They’re joined by last week’s guest judge, Witney Carson, Rylee Arnold, Gleb Savchenko, and Jan Ravnik as they create a Latin dance, being judged on their performance both on stage and in the rehearsal room. Then in the second round, they’re paired with each other for a ballroom-style dance. Only three will move on to next week’s finals, and at this stage, you’ll probably find yourself rooting for them all. Host Robert Irwin welcomes fellow Aussie and two-time Mirrorball winner Kym Johnson as the guest judge. (She also won in the show’s Australian version.)

Furious

How riveting is this thriller, now just one week away from its finale? Watching a screener of the penultimate episode with headphones on, I was making so much noise as the shocks piled up that others in my periphery couldn’t help but take notice. The action resumes following Catherine’s (Lola Petticrew) escape from the shelter after drugging FBI agent Alice (Emmy Rossum) and shooting Alice’s abusive ex, Marshall (Jake Lacy), who was lurking outside. While Alice recovers and considers the next step in tracking down the unstable serial killer and getting justice on the sex-trafficking millionaire at the center of Catherine’s revenge spree, her NYPD buddy Danny (Scoot McNairy) debates what to do with damaging information he received on a flash drive bearing many sordid secrets. It’s evidence that some well-connected people would like to get their hands on.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

When siblings Dennis (Glenn Howerton) and Dee (Kaitlin Olson) are diagnosed with ADHD, they decide to give college another try. Higher education has rarely gone lower, with Mac (Rob Mac) tagging along, and Charlie (Charlie Day) getting tested again with signs of being a true idiot savant, and Frank (Danny DeVito) channeling his inner Rodney Dangerfield (Back to School) by corrupting an innocent student. Will they pass with flying colors? Don’t be stupid.

The Wall

Follow the bouncing balls as the game show, hosted by Chris Hardwick, marks its 100th episode. This week’s episode features Ellie, a dance teacher from Arkansas, who honored the memory of her late grandfather by baking 600 pies that raised more than $20,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Now she and her husband Nick hope to make their own wishes come true with a big money win.

The Chelsea Detective

The British mystery’s Season 4 finale presents Detective Inspector Max Arnold (Adrian Scarborough) and his team with another tough puzzle to crack. The case begins when a famous architect is tossed from a hotel balcony in Arnold’s home turf of Chelsea. Then a university worker is found strangled in the architect’s Cambridge hometown. Arnold suspects the murders are connected to a controversial development project at the local college. He’s usually right.

• All American (8/7c, The CW): The final season continues with a pregnant Olivia (Samantha Logan) dropping in on Layla (Greta Onieogou), with both offering relationship advice to Tori (Lauryn Hardy).
• Beat Shazam (8/7c, Fox): Superfans of the Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, and Dallas Cowboys square off in the first of two back-to-back episodes of the musical game show.
• American Ninja Warrior (8/7c, NBC): The finish line is in sight in Season 18’s penultimate episode as more ninjas compete in the third night of the National Finals.
• How to Build a Library (10/9c, PBS): A POV documentary follows the efforts of two women in Kenya to transform a historic library, once open only to white visitors during the African country’s British colonial period, into a modern cultural hub available to all.
