Bella and Jacob shared the big news on social media. During an Instagram Story share, Bella wrote, “The best kept secret of my life!!!” In another, she showed a black-and-white photo of Jacob with her at the hospital. Dubbing him “my guy,” She also shared that he was “already the best dad and support I could ever ask for our dream come true.”
In an Instagram carousel post, Bella shared an image of her daughter in a white sweater with her name stitched on in red, “Merritt.” Bella wrote, “6 lb. 8 oz of pure perfection — our girl, Merritt Presley Mayo! Trust in God, He is so faithful!!”
A Few Notable Names Congratulated The Happy Family, Including Actress Candace Cameron Bure
As fans know, Bella and Jacob have struggled with infertility over the years. In her post, Bella highlighted Merritt as “our rainbow baby.”
In another caption, Jacob wrote, “Happy late birthday to Mama. Happy actual birthday to baby girl.” However, the couple did not reveal Merritt’s actual date of birth. The carousel post featured a number of black-and-white photos of the couple with their new baby girl, including one with friends taking pictures of the happy little family.
A number of notable figures also took to the comments to share their congratulations. Actress Candace Cameron Bure wrote, “Bella!!!! Congratulations!!!!!” Duck Dynasty alum Justin Martin also wrote, “Yes!!!!!!! Imma make sure these Martin boys protect her for years to come!”
