Fall Into Love With Hallmark’s ‘Wedding Of A Lifetime’

TV Shows

Hallmark’s Wedding Of A Lifetime promises to be a bonkers competition for the ultimate wedding. However, why do these crazy stunts if the couple still has some doubts? Who cares? They just want to win! Moreover, the audience will be laughing all the way through, because this is a full out comedy.

Wedding Of A Lifetime stars Jonathan Bennett (Deadly Yoga Retreat, The Christmas House), Brooke D’Orsay (Miss Christmas, A Dickens Of A Holiday!), David Kaye (Golden Delicious, Eight Gifts Of Hanukkah), Barry W. Levy (Supernatural, Dating The Delaneys), Mark Brandon (Chesapeake Shores, The Baker’s Son), Robyn Bradley (Christmas At the Golden Dragon, The Engagement Back-Up), and Bailee Reid (Dreamcatcher, A Very Merry Bridesmaid).

Greg Baldwin (Supergirl) wrote the script, with Anne Wheeler (Firefly Lane, A Country Wedding) directing.

What Is Hallmarks Wedding Of A Lifetime About?

According to the Hallmark synopsis, Darby (D’Orsay) and Jake (Bennett) have been engaged for a decade. The high school sweethearts, from a close-knit mountain town, have been together even longer.

However, they have found themselves questioning their love. That is because they are in a rut and have decided to put a pin in it. As they prepare to tell loved ones about their break-up, they suddenly found themselves entered into a crazy contest.

The townsfolk have entered them into a nationally televised “romantic relationship competition.” This is hosted by a popular daytime television show. The people in their town love the couple and think ten years is long enough to be engaged. Therefore, they enrolled them in this competition because the grand prize is the “wedding of a. lifetime.”

Understandably, Jake and Darby are uncomfortable about lying to the town. But, between feeling bad about hurting their feelings, and their own competitive nature, they decide to participate. Moreover, they could even help their careers with this public exposure.

“Will the charade end with Darby and Jake coming clean and going their separate ways, or will the competition rekindle their romance?!”
