Based on Family Feud hosted by Steve Harvey, viewers can always count on the host to do something unexpected or out of the ordinary. Based on recent scenes, however, Steve Harvey went rogue, and many viewers did not like it. So, what happened in recent scenes?

Family Feud: Steve Harvey Always Keeps Things Interesting

The one guarantee that fans have whenever they turn on an episode of Family Feud is, Steve Harvey will always keep things interesting, and keep watchers on their toes. As fans regularly see in Family Feud scenes, the questions and answers create numerous scenarios for Steve Harvey to exploit for comedic effect. He is notoriously quick on his feet with his turns of phrase and clever quips, and it’s one of the many reasons fans call him the best host that the show has ever had. This is a high compliment when you consider how many decades the program has been on the air.

Steve Harvey Asks Hilarious Survey Question In Scenes

In Family Feud scenes, Steve Harvey asked the survey question: “If a wife says, ‘A little bird told me my husband is cheating,’ who might the little bird be?”

In response to this survey question, one contestant said: “Her best friend.” Not surprisingly, this was the top answer on the board, and for good reason.

Another family member went so far as to say: “I doubt that this would happen, but I’m gonna say the husband himself fessing up.”

Family Feud: Steve Harvey Goes Rogue, Dismisses Player’s Answer

Typically in Family Feud scenes, when a player gives an answer like this, Steve Harvey waits until it either ends up on the board, or the answer is met with a big “X.” However, in this particular instance, Steve did not even wait to see if the answer was on the board or not.

As soon as the player gave this response, Steve Harvey instantly darted over to the other family, fully certain that this answer was not on the board. Steve even added: “Go on, throw the ‘X’ on the board.”

Even though Steve Harvey was correct, and the answer was ultimately not on the board, many Family Feud fans criticized the game show host for dismissing the player’s answer right out of the gate.

  • One player said: “Steve was wrong for that poor Victoria.”
  • Another commenter said: “I’m surprised nobody is talking about Steve walking away from the other family after Jasmine gave the steal answer. This has to be the second time Steve walks away from BOTH families.”
  • A third person said: “When the player gives an answer and Steve is already going to the other side that’s how you know.”
