Food Network Star Reportedly Competing On DWTS Season 35
Appearing on Dancing With The Stars is a great way for celebrities on the verge of irrelevance to kick-start their careers. However, some sought-after stars are too famous or have too much going on to join the reality television competition. ABC reportedly finally landed one star they’ve been after since Season 1.

Giada De Laurentiis became a household name in the early 2000s with her appearances on the Food Network. The professional chef hosted Everyday Italian and Giada at Home on the network for years. But she left in 2023 after over two decades for other opportunities. She signed a multi-year deal with Amazon Studios, where she hosts Giada in My Kitchen.
A source revealed to The U.S. Sun that Giada De Laurentiis is trading the kitchen for the dance floor. She’s reportedly signed on to compete on Season 35. “They practically begged her for decades and the stars must have aligned this year because for whatever reason, she finally said yes,” the source said. “The producers are beaming, she was their top get for a long time.”

But that’s not all the insider spilled about the upcoming DWTS season.
Famous Taylor Allegedly Joining Cast
Rumors have swirled for a while about a famous Taylor competing on the upcoming season. Fans specifically mentioned Twilight star Taylor Lautner and/or his wife, Taylor (Dome) Lautner. Well, according to the Sun, fans got part of it right. A famous Taylor is reportedly joining Season 35.
The Hanson brothers shot to stardom when they were just 11, 14, and 16, with their massive hit “MMMBop” in 1997. The catchy tune spent three weeks at the top of the music charts in the U.S. The band continued to perform and release new music in the nearly 30 years since their debut. They reportedly signed a new deal with Disney that includes DWTS.
“The other brothers were discussed but Taylor was the show’s number one since he has the most popularity in the family with the show’s key demographic, which are moms,” the insider claimed.

More Rumored Celebs
The full list of celebrities and their pro partners won’t be revealed until closer to the premiere in September. But there are rumors. In addition to Giada De Laurentiis and Taylor Hanson, other rumored contestants include Glee star Harry Shum Jr., Step Up actress Jenna Dewan, and Dutch speed skater Jutta Leerdam.
Tune in to Good Morning America on Wednesday, September 2, for the full cast reveal. DWTS returns on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
