They grow up so fast! HGTV star Erin Napier shared a rare photo of her daughter, Helen, on her Instagram. The Home Town star is careful when posting about her children, never showing their faces.
“Six years of first day of ballet, same little bag,” Napier captioned the Instagram post on August 25.
In the photo, Helen was facing backwards. She wore her hair in a bun and had on a red leotard with white tights. Her white bag, which had her name embroidered in pink, sat on her back.
The second photo in the post was similar. This one was of Helen six years younger. In this photo, the young girl wore her short blonde hair in braids. She wore a light pink ballet outfit with a pink skirt. Helen had on the same bag, but in the first photo, she wore it closer to her shoulders, and it nearly overtook her whole back.
Erin shares her daughters, Helen, eight, and Mae, five, with her husband, Ben, whom she married in 2008.
Fans reacted in the comments to how much Helen has grown up. “My little is 14 this year & still carries her ‘ballerina bunnies’ bag (that she’s had since pre-school) to dance. I offered to buy her a new, more ‘grown-up’ one… but she just looked at me like I offended her. Watching them grow sure is bittersweet,” one said.

Earlier this month, Napier shared end-of-summer photos that featured Ben and their daughters. “August weather is gonna try to kill us next week so let’s look at the pleasanter moments shall we?” she wrote on Instagram. “School in a barn, supersonic sissies, August birthdays at work, I CAN BRAID!!!! Picnic read aloud, Etc.”
The post’s first slide featured a fun photo of one of Napier’s daughters reading with their dog by her side, followed by a photo of her seemingly working on a school assignment at her desk.
