Jasmine Roth felt nothing but love from the cast and crew while filming Roast My Rental.
The HGTV series, hosted by Leslie Jones, premiered back in July. The series follows the Saturday Night Live alum as she tours some of the country’s most unique and wacky short-term rentals, providing hilarious commentary on the homes’ designs. Roth and her crew later step in to give the properties much-needed makeovers, aiming to turn the homes into must-stay vacation getaways.
While Roth has shared several photos and videos of renovations from the series on social media, she got sentimental about working with the show’s cast and crew in a Monday, September 14, Instagram post.
“What I didn’t expect was how much I would rely on such a talented team of people while filming this show,” she wrote. “It’s not that my other teams aren’t talented – they are beyond! But this time around it was different because… I’m pregnant with my third daughter!”
Jasmine — who is currently expecting baby No. 3 with her husband, Brett Roth — continued, “Being able to share this journey with so many people who care so much has left me feeling like the luckiest girl in the world. But also… VERY TIRED! No but seriously, doing this job doesn’t feel like work to me. I love it so much! But that’s not to say that it doesn’t take its toll.”
Jasmine said she relies on “the folks that have been there for me before” on days when she feels “completely drained,” adding, “Sometimes it’s just someone that brings the energy and keeps the positivity flowing! And sometimes it’s the folks that are ‘all hands on deck’ and ready to do what it takes to make the vision become a reality.”
Jasmine concluded her message by writing, “But what’s important, is that we’re all in this together and no matter what the day, we can be there for each other when we need to be.” The upload featured several sweet behind-the-scenes photos of Roth and Jones on set with the show’s crew.
