In the upcoming WCTH episode “Facing The Music,” a familiar face from Elizabeth’s past has returned to Hope Valley. However, this person may cause more trouble for the residents of the charming Canadian town. Here is everything Hearties need to know about the seventh episode of Season 11.

What Is WCTH Season 11, Episode 7 ‘Facing The Music’ About?

WCTH Season 11 is now at the halfway point. Episode 7 is entitled “Facing The Music.” What is this episode about? According to the Hallmark synopsis, “Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) hopes for the best when Tom Thornton (Max Lloyd-Jones) visits with an exciting opportunity for the town’s choir. Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) and Bill (Jack Wagner) interview a source. Lucas (Chris McNally) considers his options.”

Who Is Tom Thornton?

Tom Thornton has arrived in Hope Valley. Do WCTH fans remember who he is? Of course, Tom, portrayed by Max Lloyd-Jones, is Jack Thornton’s (Daniel Lissing) younger brother. However, while Jack was considered a legend, Tom was considered more of a ne’er-do-well. He could get himself into trouble.

Hearties may remember back in Season 2, Jack introduces Tom to Elizabeth’s sisters Julie (Charlotte Hegele), and Viola (Devon Weigel) Thatcher. Soon, he secretly starts dating Julia. But, things went sour when Julia crashed her father’s car and Tom, who was in the passenger seat, was injured. Next, Tom showed up for Jack and Elizabeth’s wedding. He is now working as a tire salesman and travels a lot. At the nuptials, he does see Julie there, and they dance at the reception. However, it does not seem that they were dating again.

Tom is the bridge to Elizabeth’s past. Will Tom’s presence allow Elizabeth to move on from her trauma over Jack’s death? This seems to be an opportunity for Elizabeth to finally overcome her deep grief over Jack’s death. This is something that Tom understands quite a bit as his and Jack’s father was also a Mountie and was killed in the line of duty.

Has Tom finally been able to exercise his demons over his father’s death? Could he offer words that will resonate with Elizabeth as she starts to heal from her great tragedy?
