Jasmine Roth and her family are celebrating a special occasion after a recent scary situation.
In a Sunday, June 7, Instagram post, the HGTV star revealed that her eldest daughter, Hazel, recently graduated from kindergarten. “The end of last week was busy busy! Can’t believe little Hazel is done with Kindergarten. My baby!!!” she captioned a photo slideshow featuring several snaps of Hazel holding a “last day of kindergarten sign.”
The post’s other photos included pics from Hazel’s last day of school, presents she received for the occasion, and snaps of Roth and her kids getting pedicures together. Roth also used the post to update fans on her youngest daughter, Darla, following her recent health scare. (Jasmine shared both of her daughters with her husband, Brett Roth.)
“Darla’s eyebrow is healing nicely – the stitches definitely aren’t slowing her down,” she wrote. Referring to photos of Hazel’s presents in the home’s living room, Jasmine added, “Note that the coffee table is gone and has been replaced by fuzzy monogrammed chairs. Is that mom guilt? I think yes!”
She continued, “Also Darla had her first pedi and we’re officially ready for summer. Andddd…that last pic is for all the parents as a reminder to not take it all so seriously.” The post’s last slide featured a funny photo of Jasmine recreating Hazel’s last day of school photo, but instead held a “Jazzy’s first day of summer” sign.
Fans shared their congratulations on Hazel’s school accomplishment, as well as well-wishes for Darla’s recovery, in the post’s comments. “Congratulations Hazel! And sweet Darla is as cute as ever! Have a great summer girls!!” one user wrote. Another added, “Congratulations to Hazel. Such a big day! One of my granddaughters just had her last day of kindergarten. Poor little Darla. Enjoy the summer with your beautiful girls.”
Someone else shared, “Your girls are adorable and pedi’s are fun – its a bonding time I did with my girls too. Fuzzy chairs are perfect and Darlas little eye looks good. Congratulations Hazel! Cheers to many more achievements! Have a fun summer mom and dad.” A different person posted, “So precious! You’re an awesome momma! Love this! So glad Darla is getting better!”
The past few weeks have been eventful for Jasmine’s family. Last month, the Help! I Wrecked My House host announced she was pregnant with her and Brett’s third child. HGTV also announced that she and Leslie Jones will star in the new series Roast My Rental, which premieres next month.
A few weeks later, Jasmine revealed in a series of Instagram Stories that Darla paid a visit to the hospital after falling off the couch and hitting her head. She had to get seven stitches in her eyebrow as a result. “I’m going to put our coffee table in storage until the kids are in college,” she quipped.
In another post, Jasmine added, “Just a reminder that being a parent isn’t about all the pressure we put on ourselves to make everything perfect. It’s about keeping them as safe as possible and being there for them when something goes wrong.”
