Not only did the actor star in the movie alongside his daughter, Ella Bleu, he also directed it. But his directorial debut was overshadowed by his bold new look.
The actor made headlines several years ago for embracing his bald look after years of having luscious black hair. John Travolta showed up at Cannes sporting a white beret and glasses. The look received a lot of negative attention. However, he doubled down by wearing a different shade beret at nearly every interview about the film. He said it was the look of a movie director.

“I’m very excited to say this is day seven of being No. 1 on Apple TV all around the world,” he said. The actor held back tears as he thanked his fans. “I want to thank each and every one of you in all the countries around the world for being so supportive, it’s really because of you that it’s number one so thank you, thank you, I love you very much.”
