Life & Style caught up with some family and friends of Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick. A source close to them both said the former couple was feeling intense pressure to make things work. They said, “Friends and family are all for them taking some time apart, but they’d love them to get back together.”
While the family remains hopeful and would love for a reconciliation, the source also noted that at this point it may not be likely to happen. They shared, “Kaitlyn would love to have worked things out with Jason, but I really think any talk of a reconciling is wishful thinking at this point.” They added, “But who knows, couples get back together all the time. I guess time will tell.”
Kaitlyn also mentioned in a recent interview that it was a mutual decision to end their relationship. She also added that the door is not permanently closed leading fans to believe there may still be hope. Kaitlyn added there are handles on doors and that is what they are there for, to open back up if desired.
Jason for his part has not mentioned anything about reconciling their engagement.
The two remain devoted co-parents to their dogs, Ramen and Pinot. Kaitlyn even noted that they can be seen walking the dogs together on Sundays. They still have love and respect for one another and it was important to them to remain friends.
Fans picked up on clues
The news of their split came after speculated that a breakup was imminent based on a lack of social media posts together. Kaitlyn also made a few cryptic posts that had everyone talking.
When they announced the split, Kaitlyn noted she was taking some time away from social media to heal. Both of them have since released podcasts but have not been very visible on social media.
