By now, Bachelor Nation fans around the world have heard about Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist’s break up after just three months of marriage. Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe is still navigating the aftermath of a break up too after ending her engagement with Jason Tartick.

Kaitlyn Bristowe Mourns The Golden Bachelor Couple
When Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist said “I do” during a televised wedding ceremony, many Bachelor Nation fans had hope for the lovely couple.
Unlike many younger couples that get engaged and marry from the show, Gerry and Theresa have wisdom and maturity on their side. Fans hoped their love would last for the rest of their lives.
Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be.
“Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations,” Gerry remorsefully shared on Good Morning America. “We’ve looked closely at our living situations and we’ve kind of come to the conclusion mutually that it’s time for us to dissolve our marriage.”
He went on to say that he and Theresa are both very dedicated to their families. Ultimately, it seems they just couldn’t make the situation work.
A fan asked Kaitlyn what she thought about Gerry and Theresa’s split and she answered.
“I’M SO SAD FOR THEM,” the 38-year-old shared on her Instagram stories this week. More than likely, their divorce probably reminds Kaitlyn of her own failed relationships.
Like Gerry and Theresa, Kaitlyn hasn’t had much luck in love with the men she met from Bachelor Nation. She and Shawn Booth were engaged for three years before splitting. Afterward, she started dating Jason Tartick from Becca Kufrin‘s season. They were together for four years before their breakup.
Another Bachelor Nation Star Isn’t Buying Their Reasons
While Kaitlyn was heartbroken for the couple, Ashley Iaconetti had a completely different take.
“I think a lot of the Good Morning America interview was BS because you don’t say, ‘We’re still in love with each other,’ and then get a divorce. You just don’t,” Ashely shared on Instagram. “If it’s a distance thing — at their age especially — live in Indiana, live in New Jersey, visit each other twice a month… Be in love, be married but, like, you know, communicate to each other, I don’t buy [it]. I don’t buy that the moving thing is the reason they got divorced three months in.”
