The fourth season of Yellowstone has just come to an end but apparently, that doesn’t mean that fans are all out of shows to watch until Season 5 becomes a reality.
It turns out that Kevin Costner is celebrating the end of the fourth season with a brand new two-part special.
ET Presents: Yellowstone Aftershow isn’t something that’s done for every episode of the long-running series. In fact, it appears to be a very special presentation that is just being done for the end of the current season.
This new special is featuring Kevin and the rest of the Yellowstone cast, along with the show’s creator and executive producer Taylor Sheridan.
The first installment was released on Sunday, December 19 and the second was a late Christmas present that was delivered on December 26.
The Yellowstone Aftershow is hosted by Entertainment Tonight‘s Cassie DiLaura and is available to stream on Paramount+.
Leading Up To Yellowstone Season 5
This particular special is the very last thing that viewers will get to see about the popular show, that isn’t a rerun. The fourth season has come to a close. It’s not clear at all if there is another season coming.
At the moment, it doesn’t appear that Season 5 is in production. That’s despite the fact that Kevin Costner’s show is among the most popular in the United States.
Kevin Costner has no doubt, been a big part of the show’s popularity. He’s joined and headlined the series as being the first time he’s been a regular on network television. Costner has made a career of playing a similar character to John Dutton plenty of times. He just tends to do it on the big screen.
Now fans will get to see another side of him and his Yellowstone costars.
Fans can look forward to interviews with their favorite stars, including, Kelly Reilly (Beth Dutton), Cole Hauser (Rip), Luke Grimes (Kayce Dutton), Jefferson White (Jimmy), and more. The special also takes viewers behind the scenes, giving them a closer look at how season 4 of Yellowstone came together.
Last Look?
Because this special was done before the season officially came to an end, there’s a chance viewers could be getting one last look at all of the actors in the same room together. The season finale seemed to imply that at least one regular is departing.
Jefferson White’s Jimmy came back to Montana for an episode. He seemed to want to finish up his debt to John Dutton. In a nice twist, the patriarch of the family said that Jimmy was free and clear. it turns out he was free and clear to go back to Texas. It seems likely that’s a setup for Jimmy to star in the spinoff, 6666.
However, even White isn’t shedding light on that move. He claims he doesn’t know what’s going to happen to Jimmy. That seems unlikely. Plans are on the move. It seems unlikely that he doesn’t know. Yellowstone fans will just have to wait to find out. For now, they can watch this Kevin Costner-hosted special.
