Kim Kardashian’s Latest Project
Kim Kardashian’s newest reality TV show has finally hit streaming. The star worked together with producer Natalie Ento to create a reality TV show following the lives of soccer moms. The new show, called Team Moms, is all about the moms and kids who go to a premier baseball training school in Scottsdale, Arizona.
However, apparently, it was never actually supposed to take off. Kim reveals that it first came to be when Natalie was telling Kim all about the crazy stories that happened behind the scenes at a soccer tournament. Kim jokingly said the situations would make great TV, and from there, Team Moms was born. Of course, they had to choose which sport to go with, and after a lot of back and forth about what their own children play, they landed on baseball.
“Every year, we take our kids on some sports adventure together,” Kim explains, according to People. “Three years ago, we were in Spain; we were at a soccer tournament. Natalie’s a coach, so she was coming back, venting about stories and crazy situations and intense parents, passionate parents. And we kind of joked and said, ‘This would be such a riveting reality show. It would be insane.’”
After pitching the show, a lot of networks jumped at the opportunity, Kim says. The show finally came to Paramount+ on September 24, and apparently, it’s already getting great feedback, Kim says.
“The one thing I’ve noticed about this show, I’ve never gotten a larger response of people saying, ‘Oh my God, I thought of that as a reality show. I was always hoping that that would be a reality show.’”
How Did The Pair Meet?
Of course, this show wouldn’t be possible without Natalie Ento’s relationship with Kim. Apparently, they bonded over their kids.
“We initially bonded on our children,” Natalie says. “And they just took a love for each other. They genuinely are best friends. And, like she said, we just bonded on that. We have very different lifestyles, her and I … totally opposite ends of the spectrum, but we really did relate on the love of our children.”
It sounds like their shared love for their children may have made something really special for reality TV! Only time will tell how the show ends up doing long-term.
