He had been arrested on August 17th for alleged sexual battery and was set for arraignment on September 8th. That has been postponed until October 14th, but he and his family were hopeful he would be bonded today. KJ Biermann Allegedly Was Intimate With An Underage Relative
On August 17th, KJ Biermann was arrested for alleged sexual battery. He had supposedly assaulted a fellow minor, who reported it in April 2026. She also went to the hospital for an examination, but he was not arrested for four months. KJ has been in Atlanta’s Metro Regional Youth Detention Center since his arrest, but he hopes to be out on Monday, September 14th. That being said, terrifying details about his personal life came out during the bond hearing, thanks to the prosecution.
Allegedly, KJ had sex with an underage relative, which was found on his phone. This was an allegation made by Deputy District Attorney Caitlin McGillicuddy during the hearing earlier. KJ was seen illustrating sexual intercourse with a cousin under the age of 12. Not only did they allegedly discover “multiple encounters,” but KJ was supposedly using “predatory, derogatory” language toward the minor victim. McGillicuddy went on to add:
“This would now mark the second time he has been charged with an offense of a sexual nature of a very serious kind which involves female victims.”
Plot twist: KJ Biermann was charged in the incident with the relative, but it was kept private. Therefore, as DA McGillicuddy noted, KJ has been under “court supervision” for almost a year, beginning in October 2025. KJ’s attorney requested that bond be set at $65,000. He would remain under Kim Zolciak’s watchful eye, given that she does not have a job.

The prosecution has other ideas and would like the bond set at $190,000.
The Alleged Victim Speaks
Although KJ Biermann and Kim Zolciak vehemently deny any wrongdoing, the alleged victim claims to live in fear. She has repeatedly been called a liar, even by Kim herself. Moreover, she has been victim-shamed by Kim, but she did send in a statement:
“No matter who these threats came from directly, I cannot just ignore them or assume that nothing will happen. I am not only scared for myself anymore; I am scared for my family, too. Members of my family have received emails and phone calls because of this situation. The thought of him being released scares me more than I can put into words.”
She was begging for the judge to reconsider releasing KJ after the alleged April attack. Now, with more details emerging, this has become an ever sadder and scarier situation.
