Fans were introduced to Kristin Cavallari through a number of reality shows, including Laguna Beach and The Hills. However, there are people who know another side of the star: her children. Recently, Cavallari opened up about what her children think about her work. She also made this share as big news is coming out for fans of her reality show work.

Reality Star Kristin Cavallari Shares Three Children With Ex, Jay Cutler

Cavallari is a television personality, businesswoman, and podcaster, who first rose to fame on MTV’s Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County and its spin-off, The Hills. She later starred in her own E! reality series, Very Cavallari.

In her personal life, Cavallari married former pro football quarterback Jay Cutler in 2013. The two share two sons, Camden and Jaxon, and one daughter, Saylor. However, the couple finalized their divorce in 2022.

Cavallari recently appeared at the red-carpet premiere of The Reunion: Laguna Beach in Santa Monica, California. This cast reunion comes out around 20 years after the original show concluded.

During the event, Cavallari opened up about her own children’s perspective on her fame. She admitted that they had seen fragments of Laguna Beach. However, they apparently weren’t too entertained by it.

Laguna Beach Fans Are Also Getting A Two-Hour Reunion Special

Cavallari noted, “They’ve seen little bits and pieces, but they think it’s really boring.” She also admitted, “They have no interest in watching a full episode.”

The media personality felt that her children are old enough to understand, or at least talk about, the show. She explained, “My kids are older now. I’ve got a teen and then some preteens, and so yes, I can have real conversations with them about it now.”

While Cavallari’s children understand their mother’s fame, they do view some dissonance between who they see on television and the person they know in real life. She explained, “At the end of the day, I’m just Mom. And yes, this is something I went through, but they know me as Mom … they know that that’s not me. There’s a huge separation [between Laguna Beach] to who they see on a daily basis, and so they kind of think it’s all silly.”

As the outlet noted, the reunion, a two-hour special, will see Cavallari return alongside Stephen Colletti, Lauren Conrad, Christina Schuller, and Trey Phillips, among others. The Reunion: Laguna Beach will drop on the Roku Channel on April 10.
