  • The Law & Order: Organized Crime star called the president’s latest claims ‘deranged.’
  • Meloni has a history of criticizing Trump and his supporters.

Christopher Meloni has never been afraid to hold back his thoughts on Donald Trump, and that was certainly the case on Wednesday (July 15), when he mocked the president’s latest posts about the Iran war.

The Law & Order: Organized Crime star took to X to comment on Trump’s Truth Social rant about the U.S.-Iran conflict and the drama surrounding the Strait of Hormuz. After the peace agreement fell apart in recent days, the vital oil passageway has again become a point of contention between the warring countries.

Despite concerns about oil transport and rising gas prices, Trump claimed that “oil is flowing like never before” in his lengthy social media post. The president also boasted of “highly productive conversations” with Middle East leadership and new investments that will be “extraordinarily good for them, and their future.”

Trump continued, “We will see Factories, Plants, and Equipment pour into the United States at Historic levels, which will create additional millions of High Paying AMERICAN Jobs! America is WINNING again, winning like never before.”

“ChatGTP, write me the most panicked deranged, fantastical tweet you can,” Meloni wrote alongside a screenshot of Trump’s essay, referencing the A.I. chatbot ChatGPT.

This isn’t the first time Meloni has mocked the president and his supporters. On Sunday (July 12), the Happy! actor commented on a report about former Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne being ordered to pay Hunter Biden $1.7 million after being found guilty of defamation.

“Another MAGAt gets caught in his BS,” Meloni tweeted.

A day earlier, he remarked on a report that Trump had hired climate change denier Matthew M. Wielicki to oversee the National Climate Assessment.

“Stupid ppl hiring stupid ppl to bamboozle stupid ppl whilst they distract from their grifting, incompetence, and allegations of pedophilia,” Meloni wrote.

When commenting on Trump’s pardons of the January 6 rioters, Meloni said, “A mass pardon of insurrectionists by the little girl loving grifter.”

He also commented on the differences between Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Trump, both of whom attended last week’s NATO summit in Turkey.

“Watching Mark Carney of Canada speak at NATO to reporters vs the bloated #1 Epstein client is… Class vs crass, Knowledge vs stupefying ignorance, Unflappable vs child in mid tantrum, Formidable vs weak pretender,” he wrote. “Well played Canada.”

Meloni previously portrayed Trump in the 2017 comedy mini-series The Kellyanne Conway Story, which aired on Prime Video.
