The ex-boyfriend of Lindsie Chrisley, David Landsman, has been indicted on multiple counts of aggravated assault and false imprisonment for an April 2026 incident in which he is accused of attacking the reality star.
According to court records obtained by People, a Cherokee County grand jury indicted Landsman on two counts of aggravated assault, one count of false imprisonment, and battery. He is accused of assaulting Chrisley on April 10 after allegedly “applying pressure to the throat and neck” and “forcibly throwing her and slamming her to the ground.”
The indictment claims that Chrisley suffered “substantial physical harm” from the assault, resulting in lacerations and bruising, as well as bleeding from her head.
A representative for Chrisley told People that she “did not contact law enforcement regarding this matter and is focused on herself and her family during this incredibly difficult and deeply personal time.”

The statement continued, “Out of respect for the ongoing legal process, she will not be commenting further on the circumstances at this time. We respectfully ask that her privacy be honored and that she and her family be given the space and compassion to navigate this privately.”
Chrisley, the daughter of Todd Chrisley and his first wife, Teresa Terry, was first linked to Landsman last year, after she shared photos of them on her Instagram page. In July 2025, she changed her last name on social media to match her then-boyfriend’s, a change she later removed.
“We are not married. [We] have built a safe and loving relationship that allows for stability in my life and in Jackson’s [her son] life,” she previously said on her podcast, The Southern Tea, per People. “For a long time, I battled with carrying my maiden last name. Choosing to change my name to Landsman truly was about reclaiming my peace and stepping into my future that is defined by love.”
Landsman was arrested for the assault in April and booked into the Cherokee County Jail. A month later, Chrisley was arrested in Georgia on charges of driving under the influence (DUI), attempting to elude police, improper passing, reckless driving, and speeding.
“I got pulled over speeding past a car on a two lane road because they almost hit an animal and I was trying to miss hitting them and whatever the animal was,” she told TMZ at the time, adding that she plans to fight the charges.
