Ryan first appeared on the second season of Married at First Sight, which premiered in 2015. At the time, he was 29 years old and was paired with Jessica Castro.

According to TMZ, a member of Ryan’s family shared that he had passed away suddenly earlier this week in New Jersey. He was 40 years old at the time of his death.
At this time, the family shared that they are keeping details about the circumstances of his death undisclosed. A cause of death also hasn’t been shared at this time. However, Ryan’s sister Melissa shared a statement over her brother’s passing on social media.

Melissa had shared, “Ryan was so damn funny and witty. He was fiercely loyal to those he loved. He had a huge heart, always. I can’t explain what it’s like to lose a sibling. Someone who’s been there from the beginning and shares the same memories.”
Melissa concluded the tribute by writing, “No matter what we were going through, I loved him immensely. Life as I know it will never be the same.” The post also featured a number of images of Ryan throughout the years.
As Married at First Sight fans know, Ryan and Jessica agreed to legally marry during their time on the show despite being complete strangers. In spite of struggles, they decided to stay together on Decision Day. However, the two eventually divorced following the show. Following his time on the show, Ryan appeared to be keeping a private life away from the spotlight.
