Season 2 of The Golden Bachelor started out with drama before it even began. Then, there was a happy ending when the show’s lead, Mel Owens, found love with Peg Munson. Unfortunately, they just announced their split after a year. Now, Mel is being slammed for a shocking move he made against the former contestants, but what was it? Mel Owens Fancied Many Of The Ladies
When Mel Owens prepared to start his journey on The Golden Bachelor, he made some distasteful remarks. He wanted someone young and who looked a certain way, which turned viewers off. They felt that he needed to accept people as they were and not be so cruel. His season seemed doomed before it even began, but he tried to redeem himself. Mel had connections with many of the ladies, but it came down to Peg Munson and Cindy Cullers. He chose Peg, and they just fit extremely well.
They have since split, but it does not appear that he will be able to date any of his past contenders. Nicolle Kate, a yoga instructor who left during week 5, has made a shocking revelation about Mel. She shared that he has blocked most of the ladies from his season. Now, she was deemed the villain of Season 2, as she only went on the show to further her career as an influencer. Regardless, Nicolle seems to have some insight and shared this on Instagram:

It is unclear if she is telling the truth, but it does not make any sense why Mel Owens would do something like this. He seemed to get along very well with many of the ladies on The Golden Bachelor. Therefore, one would think he would want to keep in touch or keep the lines of communication open.
