Michael Strahan and Emmanuel Acho have quite a bit in common. They are both former pro football players who have since moved on to careers in media. Recently, Acho weighed in after Strahan had big news to share with fans.
Michael Strahan & Emmanuel Acho Both Have Backgrounds Working With Fox Sports
Strahan is a former pro football player who played 15 seasons as a defensive end for the New York Giants. Since then, he has pursued a career in broadcast, working as a co-anchor for Good Morning America and an analyst for Fox NFL Sunday.
Acho is also a former professional football player who moved on to a career in broadcast. He served as an analyst and co-host on Fox Sports 1. He has since made a name for himself in digital series. Last year, Acho and LeSean McCoy announced the new YouTube series, Speakeasy, which streams after NFL games.

Last month, news came out that Strahan welcomed his fifth child with partner Kayla Quick. As previously reported, while sources shared that the baby was a girl, her parents have not revealed her name to the public.

During a recent episode of Speakeasy, Acho questioned Strahan becoming a father again in his fifties, as he turns 55 this November. As Acho shared, “I’m just thinking, like, if you have a kid at 55, 54, whatever the case is, are you putting your child in a position to get clowned?”
While Acho Noted That Strahan Likely Had Good Intentions, He Wondered How Much Time He Has Left In This World To Share
Acho then admitted that Strahan is in a better position than most men his age. However, as he continued, “Now you’re Strahan… so it doesn’t matter. [But] there comes a point where even well-intended parents might be setting their kids up for jokes.”
As Acho mused, “Strahan is going to be 72 when his child is graduating high school.” He continued, “I’m pro-life, but are you setting your kids up? You know, here’s my problem: Is that not negligent?”
For Acho, he wondered about how much time Strahan will have for his youngest child. He mused, “If you know you’re not going to be around very long for the child’s life, then is it, to some degree, negligent to bring a child into the world knowing you may not be around very long to raise that child?”
