The comedy Brothers will officially premiere on Wednesday, September 23, with the first two episodes on Apple TV. One new episode will drop weekly on Wednesdays through November 4, when the finale arrives.

What is Brothers about?
Brothers follows fictionalized versions of McConaughey and Harrelson who find their friendship thrown into chaos after they uncover a decades-old secret: that they may actually be brothers. When Woody’s daughter’s wedding goes awry, he packs up the family and heads out to Austin for an extended retreat at Matthew’s ranch. But what is meant to be a relaxing and healing getaway soon spirals into something wilder when Matthew’s mother, Ma Mac (Holland Taylor), accidentally reveals the pals may actually be biological siblings.
As Woody turns the ranch upside down to uncover the truth, Matthew finds himself juggling a different identity crisis as he runs for Governor of Texas. The result is a heartfelt and funny story about friendship, family, fame, and the blurry lines between myth and reality.
For those who don’t know about the actors’ real-life familial drama, Woody Harrelson revealed some information during a 2023 interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where he indicated that his father and McConaughey’s mother knew each other better than the performers realized.
